If we end up losing EE at the end of the season, would Votto be a good target? I mean I know he's got a huge contract but he does still seem as one of the game premium hitters and the regression wouldn't be so bad with him because his batting eye is legendary. Also, he'd be easily marketable because he is canadian

Since he's from Southern Ontario he has been asked about it occasionally over the years. The possibility of playing for the Jays. Every time he's somewhat forcefully said he likes where he is and doesn't want to play for Toronto.
