KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 the Jays should have a prime Loni Anderson or Jan Smithers on the field. Jan Smithers was underrated.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Its a dog fight More of a bird battle in my opinion.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Back in first! The seesaw battle in the AL East continues Something tells me the Yankees are going to have a say in this whole thing before it's over, although their pitching is suspect. They're going to be a nasty team as early as next year.

Yanks are going to be good again soon. Win now!

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Pineda 3.88 FIP, 10.42 K/9 Exactly why he probably won't be so bad next year.
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 If we end up losing EE at the end of the season, would Votto be a good target? I mean I know he's got a huge contract but he does still seem as one of the game premium hitters and the regression wouldn't be so bad with him because his batting eye is legendary. Also, he'd be easily marketable because he is canadian

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 I mentioned on the GDT... But I'd love to see them sign Brett Cecil to an extension before the season ends.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 I don't really want Votto and that awful contract but why doesn't he want to be here? Since he's from Southern Ontario he has been asked about it occasionally over the years. The possibility of playing for the Jays. Every time he's somewhat forcefully said he likes where he is and doesn't want to play for Toronto. Also this http://m.mlb.com/news/article/158877538/joey-votto-wont-waive-trade-clause-with-reds/
