Agreed. One start isn't a big deal.

 

Especially if it gives him the needed rest to recuperate and come back strong for our 2nd half run. I wonder if Marco does Yoga? I heard that DDP Yoga thing is amazing for back injuries.

Trade for SP coming soon. Estrada, and Floyd died, and Sanchez is almost over as starter

 

hutch shall get his chance to start...put Estrada on the DL

So was Hutch serving meatballs again today?

 

Wasn't good, more of Hutch from last year than the Hutch from earlier this season.

 

This, unfortunately. More grooved FBs, centre-cut, like 2015 Hutch. It definitely wasn't fun to watch.

Once again why trading Leblanc for nothing made little sense and seems a whole lot worse after all that transpired today

Matt Leblanc is not the answer. Chavez is a way better starter than him.

In almost 50 MLB starts Chavez has a FIP of less than 4. He has a better track record than even Hutch.

 

Yes, Jesse Chavez has pitched well and deserves a chance at starting for the Blue Jays if Estrada can't pitch.

has hutch ever pitched out of the bullpen before? Let's not jump the gun on him yet he's pretty talented..

 

I believe he did at the end of last season but it was a force move from the rotation. I think Chavez deserves a shot

how about that tulo guy.....he's got a pretty decent bat after all.

 

He has a .938 OPS with 7 HR, 7 2B and 18 RBI In his past 25 games.

f***, can Bautista comeback healthy and actually play well, he is still is my favorite Blue jay and when hes playing well hes probably one of the most exciting players in baseball. If he really is moving on in the off season I'd love to see him in the playoffs one more time with the Jays.

Got to think Shapiro is thinking about EE for Prospects

 

I think Valbuena will end up moving to 1st and Bregman at 3rd, he's already been playing there in the minors. Guy had a 179 wRC+ in AA this year, 14.7 BB% with a 9.1 K%.

Why would he trade EE for prospects in the middle of a playoff race?

 

I can't see EE waiving his 10/5 rights anyway.

Maybe in the meantime they can have Colabello in exchange for a BBQ ribs giveaway day at Rogers Centre.
