Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 So apparently pillar and goins HAVE done something to write home about but Sanchez hasn't? Have you not seen Aaron's splits in the bullpen over the past two seasons? His numbers are borderline spectacular and speak volumes about his value to this team as a reliever at the very least. I mean, look at these numbers man and talk some more about......pffffft, never mind. Just borderline ridiculous. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/split.cgi?id=sanchaa01&year=&t=p .282/.390/.488 vs. lefties Maybe we should throw Brett Cecil in the rotation too!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Is Sanchez allergic to AAA, or something? They are demoting a pitcher with a much better track record (Hutch) and no one gives two shits. Why can't they just do the same for Sanchez and just say "he'll be up soon but we don't want to limit him in the pen and would rather he stretch out in the minors in case of need"? Wow...your argument is Hutch has a better track record. He does, a better track record of all time sucking. Ricky Jr belongs in AAA maybe even AA with the way he pitched last year.
