Anyone picking this up for PS3?

Didn't realize they were putting out a *PS3* version. I have a PS4 but appreciate the support.

Cool spot:

Preordered pretty pumped to play. Pissed I have to remake my expos logos and jerseys but whatever. Get to fire up an Online Franchise and actually make use of my PS4.

Last year's version (download only) got middling reviews which was a step up from the thrashing it took in 2014 (also download only). It's basically a nostalgia cash crab. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I won't - haven't played a video game in 5 1/2 years (since my first son was born). That said - he'll soon be into video games and he loves baseball, so soon I may forced to play video games once again in an effort to bond with my son :)

I'll probably pick up a copy when it comes out. It's always a yearly tradition for me and if it reviews well like 8.5 or 9, I'd be happy.

If anyone wants last years MLB the Show, I'll sell it for $10.

My little guy is 3 and he loves The Show. It has helped him appreciate baseball at younger age. It can be frustrating at first but he laughs and giggles every time he hits the ball. When he homers, it's next level (home run derby).

I was in the same boat. My oldest is almost 5 and I bought a usb nintendo controller and hooked it up to my htpc with an emulator as sort of an introduction to video games. I bought a ps4 this last christmas after my ps3 collected dust for 5 years. Looking forward to getting back into the show.

Why are you bragging nobody cares that you got it early. I don't like playing sports games until after the first patch anyway.

I'm talking the patch after that one. The one after everyone starts playing and complains about the obvious things they f***ed up. I preordered so I have to pickup from EB within 48 hours but it might be a week or 2 before I actually play it. I will install might do a HR Derby and see the new grass infield.

Which begs the question why would you pre-order the game?

They are s***, s*** ignorant staff staff, s*** trade in deals, always pushing their Platinum cards, they are awful. Developers should also get a cut from their used game sales which are a massive rip-off..often they sell a used copy for 5 bucks less then new.

I agree with most of what you said but I haven't had any issues with the staff. I sell my old games at Flea Markets. They love that s***. Only membership I have with them is the free one that only saves me money.

I can't even recall the last game I purchased at EB Games. It was like a decade ago...lol

Why do people lie on the Internet? Are they looking to impress people?

I'm shocked EB Games is still surviving with Amazon and Best Buy controlling the market. EB Games is awful - expensive, never put any games on sale, don't price match with Best Buy or other competitors, offer you nothing for trade-in, previously played games are almost the cost of new games, try to rip you off every time you buy a game by asking if you want to buy extra insurance for the game lol.
