Thinking about marking player's name on my jersey, which player should I choose?

Last year, I bought WHITE (Home) Blue Jays cool base jersey without player's name on the back.

I actually thought about marking David Price's name on the back, but it won't happen since he left to the BoSox.

Now I'm thinking about three players.

2 Tulowitzki

19 Bautista

20 Donaldson

My favorite player is Donaldson, and I already have t-shirts with his name on it.

I like Tulo, but I don't know if he can play like what he did in Colorado

Bautista is such a legendary player, but he still has chance to leave the team since he is a free agent after 2016.

Right now, I'm leaning toward Donaldson.. but which player do you recommend?

I'm trying to choose carefully because one of my friend who is Braves fan bought Jason Heyward's jersey in 2014, but he got traded like few days after my friend bought the jersey.

Why choose a player's name? Be creative and use a nickname and be a spectacle!

Donaldson - Jodo

Stroman - StroShow

Encarnacion - Edwing

Cecil-Squints

Goins-GoGo

Sanchez-DirtySanchez

Stroman for sure. Unless this new management team f***s something up, Stro seems like the most likely guy to be a star for this team for a very long time.

Wouldn't recommend Donaldson. He'll be disgruntled and gone soon enough. I'd go with Stro.

I got Donaldson last year, fingers crossed as I got Lawrie the previous year.

Perma ban. Stereotypes cliques

Can you please decline my LOD offer if you aren't going to accept it?

I have Donaldson on all my shirts. MVP! MVP! $450,000!, $450,000!

JB and EE will be gone soon, Tulo looked disgruntled from the moment we traded for him and no-one is quite sure what Stroman or Travis will be yet (although injuries aside they do look very promising).

Given this current FO I wouldn't be surprised if in 3-5 years no-one on the 2016 roster will be here anyway. Shapiro wants his own team and his own legacy apparently.

Here's my new list.. who should I choose?

20 Donaldson: I don't know if he is going to be traded, but I'm expecting he will be our star player

55 Martin: I know he is going to stay much longer...

6 Stroman: He is young, but he hadn't played full season yet...

I'm not going to choose Bautista and Encarnacion because they maybe gone after this year

Bautista is a legend so it doesn't really matter if he gets traded tomorrow. A Bautista jersey is timeless at this point.

Do people look stupid walking around in Delgado and Stieb jerseys? No...

Do you want a jersey you can wear proudly 20 years from now? Yes

Gots me a Stieb! Nothing but love from everyone.

Play it safe and pick a name from the past so they can't get traded away. Stieb, Fernandez, Olerud...

I like this approach. Question is - is it tacky to put a retired name on one of the new style jerseys...or do you need an old school jersey for an old school player?

LOL. I still can't believe that happened

Rockies misspell name on jersey

Jul 26, 2014

Darren Rovell, ESPN Senior Writer

The Colorado Rockies gave out 15,000 replica jerseys honoring All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki on Saturday night, but the back of them read "Tulowizki" instead -- minus the second "T."

The Rockies say fans will have the opportunity to swap the misspelled jerseys for ones that feature the correct spelling. The Rockies said they discovered the misspelling at some point, but instead of disappointing those looking forward to receiving the jersey, the team said in a statement that it decided to hand them out anyway.

"Is there something wrong with it?" fan Jordan Deuschleman asked, according to the Associated Press. "I didn't notice with the name being so long."

The Rockies plan to remake the jersey with the correct spelling later in the year, and fans can exchange Saturday night's for the new one at the stadium or at one of the team stores.

Fans who exchange the jersey also will get a free ticket to a future 2014 or '15 game.
