So what you're saying is, EE for Cluber. Get Er done MS!!

No...... with Brantley out now for 6 MONTHS!! They will want some outfield help. We have that.

I'd easily trade Stroman for Carrasco. Idk if I'd add a Pillar type value/talent, but maybe something a bit smaller.

There would probably be a riot in Toronto. Unless you are getting an absolute steal, I wouldn't trade Stroman.

We need Stroman and Osuna to go with Carrasco anyone else in the pitching ranks is up for grabs.

There would only be a riot in Toronto cause people wouldn't know who Carlos Carrasco is. I'd trade Stroman for him any day.

Pompey, Hutch and what else would it take? Our farm is sort of devoid of good pitching prospects.

Here's a question, could we nab Carrasco without giving up either Stroman or Osuna and, if so, what would it take?

1. No. I doubt they have much interest in Osuna as any piece. If they are interested in any one of our "young" guys, it'd be likely either Pompey or Alfrod who'd be added to "sweeten" the pot than be the main piece

2. Stroman is something they'd would like to have, but again any team would, and doesn't help the Indians in any way

The Jays and Cleveland are terrible trade partners. I can see the rumors and suggestion made by Hurl-y in the past about Puig for Carrasco or Salazar.

And because Stroman is more than just a fan favourite. Fans love Stroman not just because he is a good pitcher but the Social media, swag etc.. I honestly couldn't see that trade happening anyway. Blue Jays probably overvalue Stroman because of the character while the Indians are the same way with Carrasco.

And if do a trade around other pieces you are killing the prospect capital which Shapiro has said he values highly. So I really don't see a fit here.

Consider that the Indians have Lindor...

Tulo could likely play an elite 3rd, I think that's a non-issue.

If you trade Stroman for Carrasco, it's pretty close to a steal.

Pompey, Alford, Tellez, Pentecost probably gets it done for the those prospect lovers in Cleveland.

No

I would not give up both Pompey and Alford.

Their choice

A major league proven Pillar or Pompey, Hutchison, Controllable (in years) Sanchez, and 2 of Tellez, SRF or Pentecost

Thats pretty decent but I'm sure another teams trumps it.

No chance. Stroman + Alford might be what Cleveland wants. I don't even think they'd want Osuna.

There's no way that kind of thing appeals to Cleveland.

You think Tulo is going to waive his NTC to play 3rd in Cleveland of all places?? Not a chance.

Probably not, but I'm discussing what I believe could be fair. Some who have spoke to him, believe Tulo would wave it just to get out of Canada (Brunt), personally, I have no opinion on it, but that opinion does exist.

I don't even think there would be a 5% chance. Cleveland is in a worse location than Toronto is for his family as I believe he is from California and lives in Vegas. Not to mention he would never want to play 3rd and he wants to be on a perennial winner.

It was actually a joke. I swear we need a sarcasm emoticon on here. I'd abuse the s*** out of it.

That's fair. Personally, I only see Sanchez, Pillar, Revere, Hutch, and Cola being offered in any trade proposals for anyone, given Shapiro's MO.

I mentioned this earlier, but I'm guessing Salazar would command a similar price to Carrasco?

Salazar is not quite as good as Carrasco.

I'd take Pillar out of that group. Thats why I don't see Shapiro overseeing a trade where we trade more prospects.

That's fair, but Shapiro may be inclined to sell high on Pillar if the right deal presents itself.

You almost never see players like Pillar traded. Players with 5 years of control and on rookie contracts coming off a 4 WAR season is extremely valuable to the team and you never would get full value in a trade.
