Some random emailed me to say they heard the Jays are trading for Jay Bruce. For obvious reasons I doubt it, but let's see if that happens!

Yuck

Why would anyone want Bruce is beyond me, he's maybe average on offense and below average on defense, if his trend continues, he likely gets worse over time.

Only makes sense if it's a swap of bad salaries and I don't really see anyone on the Jays roster whose salary they should feel that desperate to sell.

I'd like to ask because I really enjoy dark roast coffee and I've been trying to wean myself off the cream and sugar bit by bit but I hit a bit of a wall where I just enjoy it a lot less if I can't taste that hint of sweetness and I can't fully stomach the coffee flavour without cream. What do I do?!

I like dark roast too, and as strong as it can be made. Has to be fresh. Have become a coffee snob. Used to use 50/50 cream. Then I shifted to whole milk and am now weening off that to black. It's going better now. Just took a couple weeks to get off the dairy. Sometimes I put a little coconut oil in it. Trainer told me it's supposed to be healthy. No idea if it is.

I tend to do a blonde roast coffee in the AM for the higher caffeine content, done in the bulletproof form (https://www.bulletproofexec.com/bulletproof-coffee-recipe/). Then a nice dark roast (black) the rest of the day with an espresso as my night cap. I drink far too much coffee.

Ya, me too. Funny you mention the higher content in light roast. Most people think its other way around. I cant drink it after noon ish or my sleep is fked. But I drink way too much until then. I drink plain and neat rooibos tea in the evening. Got hooked on it in South Africa.

The coconut oil kind of soothes the flavor replacing dairy and is reputed by some to have a lot of healthy properties. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/10/25/coconut-oil-benefits_n_4164278.html

Sorry...this should be in an OTT. How about those Jays?

Yup. Last yr I saw series in Hou and Anaheim, but there is no value in it worth the dollar premium. So sticking with TOR visits this season. Its easy there. Train downtown. Get a hotel on the strip and walk to games. Take my kid to the CN Towe and the aquarium (yet again) and of course to the games. He likes those jr jays Sat's a lot.

I've used heavy cream (35%) in my coffee for years. Most people don't realize it's lactose-free, unlike milk or half-and-half. Easy on the stomach, and the appetite suppression is a bonus.

I can never find heavy cream in Canadian stores...

Do you live in the far north or something?

Far east

Unless you consider whipping cream to = heavy cream, cause that is everywhere. Cooks says it's not the same.

I always thought it was the same thing. Whipping cream is 35%. You might be right though.

I roast my own. I'm not sure if you'd be into it but it's actually very easy, it would save you a lot of money, and the difference between fresh roasted coffee and commercial stuff is astronomical.

Come out guys, yet, at least have the balls to introduce yourself, this would be Saturday night.

This is where I've been going a lot lately. Food's good, nice balance of craft and commercial beers, plus the Moustache Club is right upstairs and those guys are rad.

Sean Nolin was DFAd. Wouldn't mind us nabbing him again. Also, I love that trade for the A's.

Considering our history with the A's, good chance Nolin ends up back in Toronto. I mean, he won't cost much at this point..

Except the door man... :P I keep forgetting everything is in your back yard... per se.
