They're just rubbing our damn faces in it. Fans catch home run balls all the time and nobody cares, but with this one they're like hey let's interview this guy fourteen times while still claiming it was a legit home run. Thanks, now I'm getting mad again.

Been a long time lurker (all the way back from the old board) and a looong time Jays fan (since 1987).

 

Had to make an account because this game emotionally drained me and reading this board is like therapy lol. Its been a fun run, but to end it with the ******** ump...anyways fuk KC.

 

Still stings.

Was out tonight watching the game.

 

What a terrible performance with RISP, that was just sad. On the other hand, it's really fun having control of an AB taken away twice in the 9th, just fantastic. And that "home run" in the 2nd, that was f***ing ridiculous. There were a lot of expletives dropped at the bar when that nonsense took place. Anyways, it's been a blast watching this team this year, particularly after the ASB. Here's to a productive offseason and going further next year. f*** the Yankees, f*** the Royals, f*** the Red Sox, f*** the Orioles the most, go Jays!

MLB officiating is a certified joke. This should be clear now since replay review removes any excuse for botching a call.

 

None of us were under any illusion that the play would be overturned, though.

 

The Blue Jays had to put up with so much ******** officiating this postseason.

 

1) Odor being called safe when out

2) The 'dead ball' call off Choo's bat, which should have ended the whole play (correct call was made but for the ump's actions during the play)

3) Moustakas' "home run"

Any baseball fan should.

 

Hell, I was the first one to call BS on the awful ball four to Bautista in Game 5. I immediately turned to my girlfriend and said, "******** - clearly a strike - the ump didn't even need an excuse to ring up Bautista and he missed it anyway".

 

The only people who don't call the ninth inning strike zone BS are Royals fans and the "Well That's Life" crowd. No that's not life. That's ********. Higher standards please, loser.

Why? Revere is the better outfielder and better hitter. The only advantage Pompey has is baserunning and that's too close to call.

 

Revere has been stealing bases for years while Pompey has been a successful stealer for a very small sample size. Wait until the rest of the league figures him out.
