Just a tip before you go....take a geography class as the Royals play in Missouri not Kansas.

it's the rum... and i don't blame him... turns out he was the smart one by starting early

I will maintain that we needed Home Field Advantage here. We won 2 out of 3 at home, and only lost the one game Dickey pissed in the garbage.

We didn't win a single game at Kaufman. Home Field Advantage was f***ing Huge.

There were 3 games at each park. There was no advantage.

Yeah you hate to have a bad homerun call and a weirdly expanding strikezone make a difference in a game like this.

The "weirdly expanding" strike zone gets me. I thought the guy had a pretty decent zone all night....consistent...and then those calls? I was shocked. My son was shocked....and we are toast. Just like that. How about those steals by Dalton? That was electric. I thought for sure we were tying this at least with that speed and two decent contact hitters up. Then the MVP. We didn't get it done.

f*** this s*** let's all book flights to Kansas and burn the Bitch to the Ground!!!

Or do lunch!!! Lol

You won't have to. Almost certain they'll be a cop shooting a unarmed man and a riot will break out. Merica the beautiful. :)

I really felt it for Revere watching his blowup in the dugout after his strikeout... he must feel so, so awful, and cheated at that.

Yeah, me too.

It wasn't a typically hot-headed guy who was losing his s***. It was Revere -- the smiliest, most happy-go-lucky guy since Reyes. Everybody felt the same.

Yeah, even my mom who only started watching baseball 2 weeks ago gasped at those calls.

A team that can't score with RISP, can't score with a runner on 3rd and no outs, and the over-whelming majority of the time (in the entire regular and post-season) can't execute basic, fundamental baseball, is going to get burned and deserves the fate they play themselves into.

They went as far as they deserved.

The team that played better baseball won.

That being said, the organization that takes a team that loses it's ace, and left-fielder in spring traing, then their rookie of the year candidate infleder soon after, is 8 games out come the All-Star break...BUT...then makes the moves and the team goes on to end a 22 year playoff drought by playing exciting, meaningful late season, WINNING baseball, wins the division by 6 games, and comes within 2 games of the World Series? They deserve a lot of thanks and praise too.

GO JAYS!!!!!!

Opening Day 2016 can't come fast enough!

Love it. This team will come back strong next year. Winter meetings will be fun, and I can't wait for all the FA rumors to start spinning.

I think I agree with other that have said that absence of Brett Cecil pretty much doomed us this series. I feel that if he was around the game 2 would have probably been won. Game 4 may have stayed closer than it was. And certainly, he would have came in tonight in the 7/8th inning.... but instead, we were doomed to having to rely on couple early 20 year old relievers with little experience.

One of very few things that AA overlooked in the trade deadline, the depth of reliable lefty relievers in the pen, really cost us in the end. We basically had to hope that either Loup all of a sudden turned things around (didn't happen) or Cecil stayed healthy throughout till the end, and when he went down, it just made things so much more difficult for us.

I was thinking they weren't going to cash them in, as they could not do that for most of the playoffs. I would have chose to keep goins for the bunt

Better team won. Jays are a good team, but the this series showed their weakness.

Bullpen is thin even with Cecil back. Loup is not good regardless of his family issue.

Sanchez and Osuna will only get better. Valuable experiences.

Dickey is schizophrenic, but he did his part in div series.

Stroman showed he is for real.

Estrada is a guy Jays have to sign.

Price wasn't great, but other than the 7th inning, he did ok, just not good enough to steal one. KC is a great hitting team.

I like to see Price back, but at a more reasonable contract. He will give you wins to help win the div. A terrific teammate too.

Robot umps please.

I can see a way to use lasers to the left and right of the zone but vertically how can that be done and be called in a instant

With all the s*** that happened, I have to admit I forgot all about the game winning balk that wasn't. Another s*** call.

True. f*** the Royals. They didn't deserve to win this game just for this s*** 9th inning. Go Mets all the way.

Would like to see if any media outlets talk about the poor strikezone, or if they ignore it.

ignore it more likely than not, probably focusing more on the Jays avg. with RISP and not being able to get that runner from 3rd home

I have too many emotions right now. I can't believe it's over.

Me neither. Its hard. I shut the TV off immediately after the JD ground out was caught and my 7 year old BURST into tears. I wanted to but had to be an adult lol. It was hard. He was so upset. Mostly mad at the calls.

The same thing happened in the Texas series with Tolleson I think. I was flabbergasted. That is called in the regular season, someone saw it.
