BTS Community Moderator Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 The worst manager in baseball should provide us with endless entertainment. 1. Alex Gordon hitting 8th in game 1. 2. Alcides Escobar leading off in game 1.

BTS Community Moderator Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Does playing Rios over Dyson qualify? Thought about it, but Rios has at least been hitting a bit so I gave him a break. I'm sure there will be some highly questionable bunts later on tonight though.

Alex Gordon, the best hitter, hitting 8th in game 1. 2. Alcides Escobar, the worst hitter, leading off in game 1. I feel like it is better when put like this.

BTS Community Moderator Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 I feel like it is better when put like this. Over the last two years: Gordon = 122 wRC+ in 1065 PA (120 vs. RHP) Escobar = 80 wRC+ in 1282 PA (74 vs. RHP) Leading Escobar off is absurd, but he's probably not the only manager who would hit the fast contact guy first. Doing while batting Gordon 8th is not even believable. I can't even wrap my head around the fact that he's hit Alex Gordon 8th all through the playoffs.
DonnysManbun Verified Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 YES awesome idea. I think we should wait until after the game to see if those are bad moves what if alcides rakes

BTS Community Moderator Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Jinxxxxxxxxxx thread. Nah. There is a 100% certainty that this series will be littered with awful Ned Yost decisions.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Great thread. Should exceed 50 pages.

Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Letting his team get this far to be crushed and embarrassed by the Jays instead of just bowing out gracefully at the hands of the Astros.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Can't see who starts threads on mobile but I knew this was a BTS thread because of the word egregious. Great thread, will be hard to keep on top of.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 they better hit the jays big boppers then, cause if they miss out over the inner half of the plate the fans in left field will be dodging line drives.
Travis_Snider Verified Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I approve of ned yost mistake thread
Travis_Snider Verified Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I don't think that is a good strategy lol

It's a good thing he doesn't have Figgins and Ichiro to double sac a single over to third in the second inning.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Leaving in Volquez to face Encarnacion with 2 on and none out.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 Leaving in Volquez to face Encarnacion with 2 on and none out. Came here to post this. I turned on my TV and Volquez is facing Cola for a 3rd time with two on 105 pitches into his start. Egregious.
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Can we do Gibbons too? Goins hit down 3-0 in the 7th Goins hit down 5-0 in the 9th No excuse
