Lots of guys do it without a great K/BB and much lesser stuff than Sanchez. Tim Hudson, Jake Westbrook, Charlie Morton, Derek Lowe...

I can't believe he brought Madson in. I didn't even consider the possibility that he wouldn't just use Davis for 2 innings.

Outside of the consistent wrongness of hitting Alex Gordon 8th and Escobar 1st (which... ended up working in the Royals' favour), I'm not sure there was anything that was face-palm stupid by Yost.

 

Maybe leaving a pitcher in too long, etc., but I consider those relatively forgivable. I did miss game 4 in almost its entirety, though.
