Cueto is coming off two good outings so its about time he falls on his face. Dickey next and then Price. Next stop KC for game 6 & 7.

Even though I think the games have been umped well, I wonder why they aren't showing a pitch tracker MLB maybe wants min. amount of controversy? Last home plate umpire to me seemed to change his strike zone in the second half of the game........

Cueto will be the key. If the Jays can beat him, then they have Young and Volquez pitching at RC. They can potentially win all 3 if they beat Cueto, though the margin for error will be practically zero.

Jays need to go back to KC with a 3-2 lead. Find a way to make it happen.

Wait, is Price being pushed up early to game 5? Or is just a suggestion?

I do think it may be a better idea to pitch Price at home, without the pressure of an away game (there is enough things going through his mind already probably) and have Estrada pitch at KC so that he can limit HR's that he happens to be quite vulnerable to. Then again not sure how Price would be on short rest..

Remember this?

The crowd needs to get fired up; it could rattle Cueto as it has done in the past.

That's what I was thinking too!! Crowds need to do this to Cueto!!

CUE~~~TO~~~ CUE~~~~ TO~~~~

My brother and I will start the chant from the 1st inning onward, hopefully others catch on!

Should we only do it when runners get on base or constantly throughout?

Man whenever you can get it going I guess. If you could actually get the whole stadium to do it that would be hilarious.

I wonder if The Royals might have been stealing signs from an outfield camera (or just by watching the TV broadcast); if so then they don't even need a man on 2nd base. It has been done before and has produced success; there are several examples in this article - http://bfc.sfsu.edu/cgi-bin/unwritten.pl?Never_steal_the_catcher_signs._-_Baseball.

Here are some excerpts:

And Roger Maris' history-making season in 1961 was achieved with the help of another Code quirk — its tolerance of stealing pitcher’s signs, which is just a normal part of the game according to the Code. When Maris stepped to the plate to take a swing at a record-breaking 61 home runs, a whistle from the third base coach let him know that a fastball was on the way.

Cleveland Hall of Famer Bob Feller brought a military-grade gun sight back from World War II. After an August slump, the team used it to set up a spy station in their scoreboard that led them to a 19-5 resurgence, and the 1948 World Series championship.

Teams have used fake TV cameras in the outfield, flashing lights in their scoreboards, and even buzzers wired from the bullpen to the clubhouse, as Bobby Thomson's '51 New York Giants did in going 20-5 en route to his infamous "Shot Heard 'Round the World" playoff homer.

If the Royals are stealing signs then hopefully it will be more difficult in the Rogers Centre.

This is just a load of s***. I actually find it disgusting to accuse a team of illicitly stealing signs based on nothing. Our offense hasn't come through theirs has. That's the long and short of why we're down 2-0, along with some pockets of bad luck sprinkled in. Seriously. In this day and age with cameras everywhere and everything you practically do in public grounds being recorded, there's no humanly possible way they could get away with it. All it takes is a curious fan sitting in the wrong place or an employee with a conscience.

This is just the man in white crap you're pulling with the Royals, and just as I found it offensive and outrageous when ESPN did it to us, I find it the same way with you doing it to the Royals.

Please, don't be that weams idiot. This is the exact type of s*** he would post.

He usually only does this s*** when he's feeling in the groove. If he really means business he usually becomes much more direct, even quick pitches. Need to make him feel uncomfortable...

Our offense always seems to the same and more often than not it works. When they are patient out of the zone and aggressive early in the count in the zone...they put up runs better than anyone.

All this raving about the Royals offense is making me nauseous.

I'm not against casual or bandwagon fans, but the amount of people who think the Jays can get eliminated tonight is ridiculous.

Well its not officially eliminated but you basically are. I think were better than the Royals but would not be shocked to see a sweep. The Royals have all the luck in the world and put the bat on the ball.

So now it's in the hands of R.A tomorrow. His last start vs. KC was actually that infamous bench clearing game here in Toronto and in midst of all that choas, many people may have forgotten that he actually had a very good game that day; 7 innings of 2 hit ball (with 2 walks and 6k's.). Another good news is that as a collective unit KC hitters are batting .226 vs Dickey lifetime. One problem though is that their best hitter vs. Dickey is Alcides Escobar (6 for 18 lifetime, .333 average vs. Dickey) who is simply on fire right now... we really need to find a way to get this guy out.

Uhmm... from what I have gathered after 2 games Volquez was a boss, and Price is s***, lol.

FWIW, I asked about Volquez to one of the Royals guy hanging around in the thread...

Volquez has probably been our most consistent pitcher all year long. Never great but never really bad either. It's kinda funny cause him and Cueto our really good friends and seem to feed off of each other so we just kinda chalked it up to Volquez stepping up after Cueto's performance against Houston, But as a KC fan I'm not sure if either one will have another game like that. Especially against a team like Toronto.
