My move would probably to have the Rangers commit a few errors, then have Bautista hit a 3 run homer. I think it's a bold strategy, but it could pay off...

And it's somehow ridiculously sexy which makes no sense.

I am always sexy when I'm hammered... I'm also an excellent dancer, and my political views are never shouted far too loudly at anyone who disagrees with me...

Anyone has a gif of Martin praying/thanking God after Bautista's homer?

Andrus took the dunce hat from Martin.... ripped it from his trembling hands and took it home.

In all the drama Gibby's move to pinch run Pompey and take Martin out of the game (never easy) was big.

Martin may not have had the speed to get home in time to take out the catcher before he doubled off Revere with the bases loaded. That would have been a huge buzz kill.

One thing that Jays fans may not realize is that the Jays have never won a series in a do or die game before.

85, 89, 91: lost in the ALCS

1992 ALCS, 1992 World Series, 1993 ALCS, 1993 World Series, won 6 out of 7.

Jays have never had a back against the wall win like this before. The Carter, Alomar, Sprague blasts were epic but the circumstances didn't rival this one for intensity. Those homeruns were more about sudden positives changes of momentum but they never felt like the last chance for the team. The Bautista blast really saved the team's bacon when it was do or die. How large it will ultimately loom in Jays lore will depend a lot on how the subsequent series turn out but right now if feels massive. As it stands, it's not nearly as important as something like the Carter homerun but as a fan since 1985, this was the most exciting moment for me as a fan. Those other homeruns did not come in circumstances that were nearly this tense.

That would have killed baseball in Canada entirely. I would boycott the MLB if they did that.

Don't blame the MLB for large groups of drunken casuals ruining a game. I hate those fans. They can go straight to hell.

Y'all have no idea how close we were to a forfeit tonight. #postseason#ComeTogether

^ Jays PA guy. Stupid f***ing fans

Considering that has happened in a lot of other ballparks without such repercussions (not sure how close those games were to forfeit), that would've sent things into an absolute frenzy.

Yankees fans did the same thing when A-Rod blatantly cheated (Arroyo incident) against the Red Sox in Game 6 of the '04 ALCS.

A group of maybe 20 individuals 5 rows in front of me and to the right kept having beer, water and popcorn tossed on them for about 5 minutes and it continued in spurts, it was honestly embarrassing to watch. Those drunken idiots are lucky they didnt get the s*** knocked out of them

A guy has been arrested for spraying beer on that baby you saw on TV

That baby was actually my brother's girlfriend's (Stacey) Aunt's Daughter's baby. Wow that was a mouthful lol. The blond lady there is Stacey's Aunt Sheila who works for the Jays PR and gets us tickets frequently behind home plate.

The jackass hit her granddaughter in the head with a beer can and then someone else doused her in beer on top of it.
