What I find frustrating about yesterday was the call at second base. The definitive view angle was never added to the definitive review angle videos on MLB.com. I don't think there are too many missing and none should be missing from playoff games.

I personally don't think open/closed really makes that much of a significant difference, and even if it does, then we have to realize it could have worked both positively and negatively for us. Rangers could have had a field day with it as well for all we know.

Though I still don't see the logic in how we can't be in control of the roof of our own home field just because it's the playoffs now. That much I agree with.

The ump was bad in general but the plots don't really show much bias against either team.

Incorrect. It's our field and our home field advantage. It also has a fairly significant effect on the outcome of the game, as we saw last night.

No Grant, it's the MLB's decision in the Post-Season.

Yes, I know. That's not right, why did we even bother trying for home field if they take it away? We don't play well with the lid closed over a large sample size. There was no good reason for it to be closed.

Oh, I see, I thought you were unaware. Meh, Birds should've beaten the Rangers regardless, here's to hoping they win the next 3. It'll be interesting to see what the MLB does tomorrow afternoon with the Stros roof.

The carpet is the only true home field advantage. Jays have 81 games on it, Rangers just a handful. An open dome is an equal for both trams, not an advantage for Toronto.

Everyone keeps saying we should have won in spite of the roof, the strike zone, and the blown call, but that doesn't make me feel any better. Sure we should have, but it took all three of those factors combined to allow the Rangers to win, as each one cost us at least one run.

I would have rather been blown out by 10 runs than to play better than the opponent and have outside influences haunt my memories.

Hey man, I went ape s*** after the missed call on Odor, and wasn't happy with the inconsistencies from Carapazza all night, but I really see nothing wrong with the roof being closed. What's done is done now, bro, I'm in no hurry of developing an ulcer or deal with un-needed anxiety over a game, I really wish the Jays had played better overall the last two games, and we wouldn't be talking about this, it's pretty simple. They haven't exactly played well, and have been horrible defensively, s*** happens, they'll win the next 3. :P

RyanKalishfan is posting here again as 4thOF, just a heads up, lol.

I can't help it, I'm still fuming, lol. I can get over being outplayed pretty quickly, but not s*** like that. I agree we'll win the next three though, Texas' pitchers are total s***. It's why they never do anything in the playoffs.

At least we can talk about the last place red sox to rkf. That almost sounds as good as first place Jays!

I guess if Martin is ok with the strike zone then fans should be also: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/umpire-carapazzas-strike-zone-befuddled-everyone/

that's not what I got out of the interview; it seems he is frustrated and basically stated that the strike zone was moving and inconsistent. He did say he is a young guy and trying to do his best.

Martin is a pro's pro man. I am proud that he reps our team and our country. And I also like the swagger and JB and JD and the "don't f*** with us" swagger... good combination!

That went right over your head, bro.

Stop blaming Refs, Replays...Jays have s*** the bed and lost focus in the playoffs, they have no one to blame but themselves.

True, but I don't think the Rangers played better baseball than the Jays did in game 2. That review call in the top of the 14th was absolute BS. Even the broadcasters were shocked that Odour was called safe.

I hope Vic woke up this morning with chronic diarrhea.

one can't wake up with chronic diarrhea as it requires one to have diarrhea for greater than 4 weeks....

i'll show myself out

Odor WAS most likely safe. You guys are funny. Look at the pictures for christs sake. It's INCONCLUSIVE.

If you say this 1000 times, some people will believe what they want to believe.

Don Cherry went off again on HNIC with the conspiracy crap that MLB is against us cause the Jays are Canadian. The roof, the ump and the calls. Its all a conspiracy. Such BS.

The Jays should just shut up ...play good D...mash that f-ing ball and win this game today.

The roof being close for game 2 was BS. No chance of rain until late at night...

I dunno man, it looks like his foot was off the bag to me.

No, I'm saying he was out. His foot didn't touch the bag for a second and Tulo was clearly applying the tag at the same time

Sounds to me like we have a bandwagon hockey fan amongst us
