Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 After further review. Deff take Alec Hanson. (jk) See whichever pitching prospect Abom wants, avoid like the plague. Poor Abom he will never shake this stigma as will I in concern of alcohol.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Borucki @4 above both Pearson and Jansen is bizarre. Likely because he's so close to the Majors.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Poor Abom he will never shake this stigma as will I in concern of alcohol. What you doing up at 2am?
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 What you doing up at 2am? It's 10 to 5, bruh. Watching golf, you?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 Still on vacation on the other side of the world. Crisped up at the beach this morning and now drinking the local brew, Phoenix beer. 2:30 in the afternoon here
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Sickels top 20 prospect list for the Jays is up. https://www.minorleagueball.com/2018/3/8/17097712/toronto-blue-jays-top-20-prospects-for-2018 Samad Taylor ranked 12 with a B- grade is mildly surprising and encouraging.
Todd Verified Member Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 So Tuesday blue jays journey released they top 30 blue jays prospects. And seem to have released a older top 30 they the blue jays website Which was a much younger one.

Todd Verified Member Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 My personnel opinion is the younger one. But it makes the blue jays say top 60 prospects even stronger.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I pray to god that Pat Tabler is gone before Pearson makes it to the majors. Pat's gonna blow his load weekly with that country strawng body.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Sickels finally released his Top 175 in case anybody still cares. I feel like this late in the Spring, we're kinda over prospect lists... and also that Sickels has fallen out of favour anyway. https://www.minorleagueball.com/2018/3/15/17121536/top-175-mlb-prospects-for-2018 2) Vladimir Guerrero, Jr, 3B, Blue Jays, Grade A 5) Bo Bichette, SS, Blue Jays, Grade A 36) Anthony Alford, OF, Grade B+ 96) Ryan Borucki, LHP, Blue Jays, Grade B/B+ 101) Nate Pearson, RHP, Blue Jays, Grade B/B+ 126) Danny Jansen, C, Blue Jays, Grade B 142) Sean Reid-Foley, RHP, Blue Jays, Grade B 147) Logan Warmoth, SS, Blue Jays, Grade B 153) Riley Adams, C, Blue Jays, Grade B 167) T.J. Zeuch, RHP, Blue Jays, Grade B
Todd Verified Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Anthony Alford keeps proving my point. He's out now three to six weeks with a different injury.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Holy f***, I can't imagine how desperate I'd have to be before someone could convince me to consume Dehydrated Chlorine Meth Testosterone.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 This is the guy we traded Joe Smith for
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I like that he's gone out of his way to try to prove that he didn't do so knowingly.
The Iceman Verified Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Look at the bright side...it frees up a spot on the 40 man doesn't it?
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I like that he's gone out of his way to try to prove that he didn't do so knowingly. A polygraph test is as useful as “thoughts and prayers”. Gutted at this news, Pannone was someone I thought could make a big step this year.
Muck Bartinez Verified Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Maybe Pannone was buying his dog food from the same store as Collabello.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 With all of the DHCMT we're hearing about in professional sports, the recent UFC one for a scheduled test comes to mind, if this is a product being laced into OTC supplements. I imagine if it was we'd be seeing it caught in testing. Regardless sucks for Pannone but hopefully he comes back after 80 games and keeps improving.

Gutted at this news, Pannone was someone I thought could make a big step this year. Does MLB confirm these results with other labs? I'm sure he had the results confirmed independently before taking the polygraph at least. No excuse for failing a test though, he's a pro and shouldn't be taking any drug that the training staff doesn't approve.

I think if I was an athlete, I'd keep a pill or two from each bottle of stuff I used for testing just in case.

Yeah, this. For all we know though, maybe he was. There is some chatter that some of the tests may be due to food contamination, so maybe some farmer somewhere is trying to beef up his livestock a little more or something. It's certainly not the most likely scenario, but ...
Sorrow Verified Member Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I think if I was an athlete, I'd keep a pill or two from each bottle of stuff I used for testing just in case. Oh as would I. I'm assuming he actually did it but it's one of those things we're seeing more often across various sports now. I get the feeling that the testing for this substance has improved greatly. Either way I frankly do not care if he did or did not. Sucks he'll miss 80 games but meh.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Maese out for the year after shoulder surgery. Not good for him.
