6'9" doing this

Awesome. I was just watching his stats, had no idea he brought heat like that.

He's certainly a thing then if he keeps the walks down.

At his height, it probably looks like 110 to the hitter.

Hayden Juenger has pitched 8 innings in High A now.

15 Ks

2 walks

0.88 WHIP

0 HRs

His ERA sucks though. Despite those great numbers it's 5.62, but his FIP is 1.55 and xFIP 2.98

Are you trying to find a diamond in the rough? Every team has numerous amounts of prospects with similar talent. I don't get it?

lol

Jays just drafted the guy, put him at high A and he's doing great so far.

Thought people might find it interesting, not everybody scoreboard watches the prospects.

You were on me yesterday for mentioning Stadler too. Not everybody has a 6'9 reliever who throws 101 mph BTW

If you don't like my updates, just f***ing ignore them? I dunno

Don't take it personal, seriously. Just saying guys like this are flooded through every system.

Ok, and what? He was just drafted in the 6th round and has intriguing qualities. Juenger is easily worth watching as at least a relief prospect. This isn't some random that was drafted in the 18th round.

Like Fitz? Relax, I'm just saying RP spects are dime a dozen, is that fine?

Keep posting any nuggets of info you like about our prospects. It's all good information. How we process the data is on each of us individually. Personally, I'm glad I now know we have a 6'9" guy that throws 101. I'll be curious to watch and see if he's able to harness it and how his secondaries plays off of it.

Honestly I like little updates on random prospects that may not go anywhere. It's interesting, especially when someone else can chime in and let us know that he's throwing over 100.

These thread dies when our best prospects aren't killing it. It's nice when people keep it going with news. You don't always have time to go through every minor league box score day to day.

The problem is that this kind of commentary doesn't add anything to the conversation. I personally enjoy hearing about prospects I'm not familiar with.

Spanky sometimes still thinks he needs to impress the woke crowd types that used to run rampant around here. He's coming around slowly though.

Okay, this is an idiotic post, what woke crowd ya dolt.

My commentary is a fact, I also commented on Fitz's velo spike. The MILB is loaded with hard throwers with limited control, just my opinion, I'm allowed one.

Given your propensity to make posts that look like they've been run through google translate several times I don't really think you are in a good position to be the BJMB gatekeeper. ;)

Elvis Luciano was back pitching tonight, after a month off.

Gave up one hit and struck out the side in one inning of work for the Fisher Cats

Interested in those that follow MiLB what are your thoughts on the release of Luciano. Elvis has left the building/org.

Thought he was a young and up in comming prospect that the team invested heavily in.

I know I was subjected to watch his brutal early MLB appearances to keep him.

I'm not being a gatekeeper, also, you can kindly f***-off.

It has to be off-field s***.

Like I said this doesn't add anything to the conversation. Most people are cognizant of the fact that pitching prospects are volatile. You are not introducing new or interesting information.

I don't following MiLB that much, but I think Luciano was a casualty of the 2020 minor league season being wiped out. His development was already cut a bit short due to Rule 5 status where he barely pitched all year in 2019, and then he lost all of 2020. That would have been fine if he wasn't on the 40 man roster, but his option clock had already started and the Jays can't afford to have someone so far away on the 40 man right now.

At quick glance, his AA numbers aren't that bad for a 21 year old but not spectacular enough to hold a 40 man roster spot during a competitive window.

Julian Merryweather just completed a 6 pitch clean inning with a K... this pleases me.

The question is never how he does against the oppisition, its always how he feels afterwards lol. Lets hope no setbacks this timeout. Thanks for the update
