Have you not learned anything from The Mirage or Gurribabip?

Trolling me non stop and always being wrong, always overestimating SSS results, and never paying attention to process.

Look Bichette is another hacker with worse power, but probably better contact skills then those two above. He still looks terrible vs r/r sliders. He is never going to be a walker, his best case scenario is something like Starlin Castro or Jose Reyes imo.

Both Hernandez and Gurriel have done a little better than what their minor league stats predicted**. Castro and Jose Reyes actually seem like a pretty good best case scenario. Reyes was a 5 WAR player in his prime, Castro 3. It would be amazing if Bo is like Reyes.

I guess I'm a little confused exactly what your gripe is?? All these players come up, and as a group they kind of hit like their minor stats predict.

Are their people that really think Teoscar or Bo are .400 hitters after a week?? It seems to me most on the board are pretty good at interpreting minor league stats. Bo Bichette came up, had some high average years in the low minors, not as much in the high minors. Looks like he'll be a .280 hitter in the majors, of course if things break right (like they could for anyone) he could be significantly better... yeah, like Jose Reyes won a batting title, and that's kind of what Bo might be like if things go well... though I wouldn't count on it.

How does the board value these players any differently then the stats do or you do??

** (I mean combined Hernandez and Gurriel have done a bit better then the minor stats would predict, I think Gurriel's average is a little high, Hernandez a little low, but if they are both given 1000 more at bat, I bet that normalizes, and they both end up as similar hitters, acceptable if their outfield defense is good)

Gurriel had around 350 PAs while Hernandez had around a 1000, I kinda got used to what Hernandez is which is a fourth outfielder.

Could he turn into Bautista? Sure but I’d be surprised and I tend to be very bullish on our players.

Drove 5 hours yesterday to see junkies in the parking lot beside Erie, PA baseball stadium..

Matt Manning looked pretty good... 94-97 fb, 91 2 seam, slider and a curveball..

Hatch was 94-95 fb, 87-88 slider, never threw a third pitch, hung ALOT of sliders, seemed pretty meh.

I was also at the game yesterday but parked on the street, so didn't see the junkies. I have seen Pearson a few times and this was not one of his better games, even tho he was perfect thru 3. His off speed pitches were high most of the time and he didn't hit 100 after the second inning.

Warmoth looks lost at the plate and Spannberger pulled a Fisher but at least it didn't hit him in the face. Still worth the 2 hr drive.

So that's a no? Soft if true

100 bucks he has a wRC+ of at least 90 at the end of the year minimum 50 AB's.

No he won't have enough ABs in the rest of the year to get below 90wrc.

In the 5-6 story parking lot across the street / the bar on the main floor. The Eria and Dunedin stadiums are among the worst/ugliest I've been to in the last 2 years~

I made that offer before he came up, you're lucky you didn't see it

Ross Atkins on giving up Cal Stevenson.

"Really just comes down to very very clear communication. Had we been able to acquire Derek Fisher for less we would have. They weren't going to deal him for less. We just feel that probability and upside is higher Derek Fisher. It really just comes down to us valuing Derek Fisher. To us he is not a complementary piece, we are adding an everyday centre fielder.

The talent is there. The results haven't been. Guess our scouts think the results will start matching the talent

Then stop following the team. f*** me. We traded for a talented guy - why not get excited about that and see what he can do instead of making uneducated judgments? You know next to nothing about being a GM or the game of baseball - yet you jump to an immediate conclusion. This is what's wrong in today's society.

Lol.. My immediate conclusion is that Atkins paid too much for him, i hope he does well. Your reaction is what is wrong with today's society. Everybody is so f***ing sensitive about everything.

gruber, I sometimes wonder why you and Barker even bother following the Jays.

What? Who the f*** are you to make a statement like that? So you're telling me that I can't be critical of decisions that management make and still follow the team? What a self centered s*** for brains comment on your part. I've been following the Jays religiously since 1980. Just because I don't suck management's dick no matter what like puppets like yourself, doesn't mean I don't bleed Blue Jays. You're really f***ing sad.

Hahaha you've been following the Jays religiously since the 80's and this is how you speak?

Mean get over it. I have been banned from this site and i still come back.

Some people make fun of some of the things i say. Some people like my 100 prospects thing i do.

For a few years now i have been saying Anthony Alford is over rate and should not be in the jays top

30. Final after that people are starting to see that he's not as good as everybody thinks that he is.

Seven or eight years now with the jays and he still has not played a full season. Everything about him

is below what it should be after all that time. And the jays have added players that have passed him.

The jays have at least two players maybe more who should be in the top 30.

For example Josh Winckowski and Otto Lopez.

You always say you're going to post your top 30 and top 100 and you never do.
