Alford starting to show a pulse down in AAA and then gets removed from last night's game with an undisclosed injury. Go figure.

Sounds about right.

That happened a few days ago(June 1st), cut his finger stealing 3rd, I see Biggio and LGJ played in Buffalo last night, as did Bichette coming back from injury took a BB in 2 PA's.

Uh Spanky, that was the continuation of a previously postponed game from April 20 lol. Biggio and LGJ obviously did not play in Buffalo last night, and Bichette did not play either as he wasn't in the night game.

Didn't know Wincowski could hit 96. He's looking more and more promising.

Why is kirk getting no respect by baseball America

Cause he's really fat. I thought we already established that.

Posted (edited)
I wonder if Kirk gets sent to double A soonish. Like 2/3 more weeks?

They probably want Kirk catching every day so he can get more polished defensively.

Some tweets on someone I assume is going to be in the organization soon, but currently still playing regionals:

The guy tweeting is sports coordinator for Creighton, but I assume the stats are correct. Roughly 22% Ks against the better college pitchers is quite acceptable I guess. I hope this kid adjusts to pro ball better than J.B. Woodman, lol.

I noted briefly last night on the podcast recording, Will Robertson is the highest drafted Creighton player in 25 years since 1994. He also has the most home runs in college out of all the bats we drafted this year with 15+.

That’s pretty impressive considering we took a bunch of cape cod league standouts that also had a great draft year, like most of them were putting terrific 300/400/500 type numbers in college and Robertson had the most dingers. Reports say he carries plus raw power. He profiles similarly to Griffin Conine with maybe less arm in RF, also a higher K% type hitter.

I think guys to really watch out for include Cameron Eden and Tanner Morris, both can hit and Eden has speed and a CF glove on top of that.

Yeah, if anyone, Pendleton called it. 'Twas cool.

Last year's 8th rounder Joey Murray is really killing it.

6 IP with 6 K's and no BB tonight. Coming into the night, through 11 starts he had a 11.1 K/9 and 3.4 BB/9. His dominant NCAA numbers have barely declined in the low minors.

A ton of K's for a guy who throws like 88-91

How on earth did he only give up 3 runs?

I selfishly want to see Conine stay in Lansing a bit longer just so we can see what Groshans Conine Moreno lineup would look like for an extended period, assuming Groshans is not staying on the IL all season. Edited by BlueRocky
