Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Alford fell from 57 to not even on the list. He's garbage. Can't hit.
Stoneyen Verified Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Was looking through the minor league stats and noticed that Bo is tied for 11th in Stolen Bases in the entire minors. Pretty impressive for a guy who FG gives a 45 speed.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Tim Tebow was picked for the AA All-Star Game. He wasn't really deserving and he's BABIPing his way to respectable numbers as it is, but man I'm actually impressed with him as an athlete. He hadn't played baseball in over 10 years and basically picks up a bat and glove and is putting up league average numbers in AA a year later. I don't know how many people could do that.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Health issues didn't kill Nate Pearson. The big injury was a fluke thing, getting hit by a comebacker, as opposed to a chronic injury. Alford has had a bunch of chronic injuries that are also probably effecting his performance. Neither has needed re-evaluation though, which is a good thing. Pearson was hit by a mother-f***ing comebacker so the situation was pretty clear-cut, no need to re-evaluate it, he broke his f***ing arm **, and Alford has mostly played through it. ** Pearson also had a back thing before the comebacker broke his arm, if that continues he may have to go for the murky and dreaded re-evaluation.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Gratz...but how the hell does Romano make an all star team with those numbers?

It's a shame Michael Jordan didn't get to play another year. He was a bit better than Tebow his first year, and it would of been fascinating to see what improvements he would of made his second.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Author Posted June 29, 2018 Alford fell from 57 to not even on the list. He's 104 on the list. Todd says so.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 He's 104 on the list. Todd says so. That's the Jays list, though.

Yeah such a shame he went back to the sport where he was one of the greatest talents to ever play

BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 1. Vlad 3. Bo 16. Jansen I hope to f*** his justification for such crazy rankings is that he's just returned from the future in his hot tub time machine... Jansen the next Buster Posey confirmed
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 Jansen the next Buster Posey confirmed It looks like Groshans played today but left again after three at bats. Does anyone know what's up with him?? I guess this probably triggers an automatic re-eveluation, so he'll probably be out a couple of weeks ago. And no I'm not trying to be a jerk. I think if a young minor league player tries to come back, and can't even make it through a game, this front office will sit him for a couple of weeks, and send him for re-evaluation. I guess it's not that bad a policy. Hopefully they just don't get on the Tulo Time table... waiting until opening day to get your surgery.

Todd Verified Member Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Wonder how different the end of season blue jays top 30 prospects will look like. Looks like other people are starting to see how over rated Anthony Alford is. He's starting to fall down the top 30. Jays have got players more talented then him now in they system. And it's been five years now not improving. Or time for new team.

I heard I was going to win most annoying poster award, but it looks like you are on the comeback trail too. What do you think will happen at Vlad's re-evaluation?? Will you watch it live? They will probably stream it. Most here think he will be back in the lineup late next week. I am thinking we just won't hear anything for a while. Like July 22nd everybody will still be wondering what is going on.

Like July 22nd everybody will still be wondering what is going on. Guerrero (strained patella tendon) is "doing great" in his rehab and is ahead of schedule by a day or two, according to general manager Ross Atkins, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports. Analysis:He last played on June 6 and was set to miss at least four weeks, so it sounds like he could return in early July if this timetable is accurate. Once healthy, Guerrero will likely be promoted to Triple-A in relatively short order, but this injury severely hurts his chances of reaching the majors this season
