metafour Verified Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Pardinho will also face Nolan Gorman tonight.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Three quick groundouts for Pardinho that I heard with my own ears. How do the mechanics sound?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 How do the mechanics sound? Tinny with a trace of feedback.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 How do the mechanics sound? The mechanics sound superelite. No squeaks, cracks...nothing.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Update radio scouts? Does radio scouting the Yankee game on mute count?
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Update radio scouts? KKK through 3, six groundouts! Okay, I've delayed long enough. It's time...
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Does radio scouting the Yankee game on mute count? Yes
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 4 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 65 pitches-39 strikes, 7 groundouts-0 flyouts.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Not bad for someone not old enough to vote in most countries. I just want to see the kid get innings under his belt. He's probably on some arbitrary pitch count...
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 From a BP article about Dynasty prospects to keep an eye on: Maximo Castillo, P, Toronto Blue Jays – Signed as an IFA out of Venezuela in September of 2015 for just $10,000, Castillo is emerging as a decent pitching prospect for the Jays. At six-foot-two with a thick lower half, he looks the part of a solid rotation candidate. Castillo’s overall repertoire is not eye-popping and his fastball will max out in the 92-93 range, but he shows a potentially plus curve ball. Pitching in full-season ball at just 19-years-old this year, he has had some struggles. Castillo has allowed 69 hits in 56 innings, but he has posted 53 strikeouts as well. He throws strikes, maybe too many, and he would do well to work on setting hitters up better, but there is some raw material here. He has physical projection and youth on his side and should definitely be monitored.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 I may have jumped the gun on Groshan and Conine busts. Conine- 3-5, 2B, 1K, 3RBI Groshans 2-4, 1BB, 1K, 1RBI Also noting that Miguel Hiraldo keeps crushing. Hiraldo 4-4, 1BB, 1SB, 2RBI
Ray Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Might be time to move Hiraldo to Bluefiled to join his fellow 2017 signee Pardinho.

Might be time to move Hiraldo to Bluefiled to join his fellow 2017 signee Pardinho. Agreed. That would be awesome. Wonder if Kloff will soon join Grosh & Griffin in the GCL soon? Or maybe the 3 will debut in Bluefield together next season?
metafour Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Might be time to move Hiraldo to Bluefiled to join his fellow 2017 signee Pardinho. I mean they placed him below Leonardo Jimenez who came from the same class and got more money than Hiraldo, who is also hitting .455 in the (short) GCL season so far. Make what you will of that....
metafour Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Groshans did have 3 errors at SS today.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Is it too early to fap to this farm system? Man, in a year or two, even with graduations for Vlad and Bo, we'll be in good shape.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Author Posted June 21, 2018 Groshans did have 3 errors at SS today. Move him to 1B

Exciting to actually have position players to follow. 2 years ago the only guys worth keeping an eye on were Alford and Tellez. It's amazing to see how far our system have come.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 When will Kloffenstein pitch? He said he would be in GCL this year but didn't give a timeline.
Ray Verified Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Mickey Moniak in High-A: .257/.272/.321 Hope he didn't spend all of his signing bonus. That might be the only substantial sum of money he ever makes in baseball.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Author Posted June 21, 2018 He's set for life. Ask Mike Modano
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Ask Mike Modano Ask any dummy with money, I'm sure he's barely dented that 6 million.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Foley's getting squeezed by this ump. 7 of the last 8 pitches called balls were strikes on Gameday leading to walks.. He struck out the 1st 2 batters as well.
