P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Also, Bichette is 1-2, 2 R, 2B, RBI, 3 BB, and Biggio is 2-4 with a homer. SRF went 5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 8 K.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 At a certain point he needs to come up. Sign him long term and just get the party started lol That would be ideal.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Nate Pearson just took a hot shot off his pitching elbow. Not sure of the exit velo but it was scorched. In visible pain, unable to extend his arm. Is coming out of the game. Stay tuned for f*** sakes.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Kevin Smith keeps raking... 2-4 with a 2B and 3B, so far.
Ray Verified Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Kevin Smith keeps raking... 2-4 with a 2B and 3B, so far. So does Cavan Biggio: 2-4 with a HR Now slashing .310/.434/.690 in AA. Needs to move up.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 I thought Biggio was the tagalong buddy of Vlad and Bo, but he's raking this year. Would be awesome if he's turned into a real prospect now, especially with 2b being an issue again at the big league level. Now we just need Clemens to turn into something so the entire infield can be son's of big leaguers in 2019/20.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Vlad just hit another homerun..... Wat? That game's long done. Or did he hook up?
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Wat? That game's long done. Or did he hook up? s***, my bad. Didn't realize the tweet was from an hr ago
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Wat? That game's long done. Or did he hook up? Naw, just 2. Poster was late to the party

To me the biggest difference for a hitter from say high A to AA is they start to see pitchers not throwers, the low minors is filled with guys who have wild heat. You start to see pitchers who have developed pitch selection.
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Vlad is so good he hits homeruns even after the game is finished
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Naw, just 2. Poster was late to the party Hook up, laid, HR...

glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Damn tough break for Pearson. Hope it's not serious. His arm was always a concern even before this.

I never understood why he gets no love from scouts and listings... his D is passable/average at 2B, and everywhere he plays he hit half decent going far back as Notre Dame... if he keeps this up, they can't ignore him anymore.

Always seemed to get tagged with that "lack of loud tools" label, but some guys just hit their way through.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Vladdy with his second HR of the game, a 2 run shot! Call him up!! He hit the godamn hotel. Jesus what a blast
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Well. That's that for 2018. 6 weeks doesn't sound bad though... Unless he meant 6 months.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 That f***ing sucks, no way around it.
