Also, Bichette is 1-2, 2 R, 2B, RBI, 3 BB, and Biggio is 2-4 with a homer. SRF went 5 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 8 K.

Nate Pearson just took a hot shot off his pitching elbow. Not sure of the exit velo but it was scorched. In visible pain, unable to extend his arm. Is coming out of the game. Stay tuned

Kevin Smith keeps raking... 2-4 with a 2B and 3B, so far.

So does Cavan Biggio: 2-4 with a HR

Now slashing .310/.434/.690 in AA. Needs to move up.

I thought Biggio was the tagalong buddy of Vlad and Bo, but he's raking this year. Would be awesome if he's turned into a real prospect now, especially with 2b being an issue again at the big league level. Now we just need Clemens to turn into something so the entire infield can be son's of big leaguers in 2019/20.

Question for everyone, is AAA right now that much of a jump from AA, especially for a hitter. I have always said the big jump is from A to AA.

Probably not as big a jump to AAA from AA than from A to AA, but it's still a bit of a step.

The biggest test is AA. The jump from High-A to AA is massive, but it's less pronounced from AA to AAA.

I thought long term they see Bo at 2nd?

To me the biggest difference for a hitter from say high A to AA is they start to see pitchers not throwers, the low minors is filled with guys who have wild heat. You start to see pitchers who have developed pitch selection.

You're right. Works the same for pitchers, way more advanced bats.

Damn tough break for Pearson. Hope it's not serious. His arm was always a concern even before this.

I never understood why he gets no love from scouts and listings... his D is passable/average at 2B, and everywhere he plays he hit half decent going far back as Notre Dame... if he keeps this up, they can't ignore him anymore.

Always seemed to get tagged with that "lack of loud tools" label, but some guys just hit their way through.

Well. That's that for 2018.

6 weeks doesn't sound bad though... Unless he meant 6 months.
