He works for an agency, tipping them off on kids they might be able to represent one day. He doesn't have enough time to watch complex games any more, unfortunately.

Fields 2/3 tonight again. He is having some Carrera bat voodoo right now. Danny Jansen also crushing AA. Both batting ,400 right now.

 

Fields ends up 4/6 tonight raising his ave to .410...legit prospect?

Whatever changes he's made let him reinforce it a little longer then if his success continues....call him up.

Has it improved? He was a 88-92 T94 guy from what I remember with a good changeup but average breaking ball.

He's been reportedly hitting ~96 this year and sitting low 90's. He's missing a ton of bats every start and his changeup is one of the best secondary pitches in our organization.

2016 MLB redraft. Where does Bo Bichette go.

 

Honestly, not top 10. Probably top 20 though.

 

Teams wouldn't change their minds that quickly about guys they loved a year ago like Matt Manning or Braxton Garrett (both in the top 10).

Safe to say Bo has leapfrogged a guy like Gavin Lux though.

How much of a factor for Bichette does batting in front of Vladdy Jr come into play in the minors??

Do teams in minors strategically pitch or pitch around players??

I wouldn't say easily. He'd be borderline top 10, but I think he'd sneak in around the 8-10 range.

 

And an argument could pretty easily be made that he'd still slide to the 15-20 range because of his swing mechanics.

Well in their May 11 top 100 update BA still had Manning, Perez, Quantrill, Puk, Garrett, Anderson, Groome, Collins, Pint, Rutherford, Ray, Lewis, Moniak, and Senzel above Bo.

 

So at the very least he's not all of a sudden going top 10 "easy".

How in the hell is Moniak above Bichette? Just looking at stats Moniak seems kinda mediocre tbh
