Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 It looks like what happens when I bowl with my Korean pals. "Yes, Yes YES gutterba....oh f*** off strike"
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Can he throw over 80 MPH though?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Looks like he's about 5'4.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 The umpire gets fooled by framing way too much. Some of the strike calls in that video make Joe West look like Superman.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 That one ump with the double arm pump strike 3 call at the end was hilarious. It's like he was in high school showing his friends how he banged his first girl.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Crazy movement on the two seamer, and the curve is electric, but he can't throw hard. He'd get destroyed in the MLB.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 hdmh lol... our football team is falling like flies, injuries everywhere! Edit: Atleast they're nagging injuries.
Caper Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I wonder if Eric Thames took him to the woodshed yet.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Can he throw over 80 MPH though? 127 km/h!
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Crazy movement on the two seamer, and the curve is electric, but he can't throw hard. He'd get destroyed in the MLB. He looks like a Sergio Romo clone to me. Romo's slider only averages 78 MPH - which is about what this guys throwing that frisbee at...
ProfessionalAtBat Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Can he throw over 80 MPH though? If you look at 0.59 sec in the pitch zone it says 144km = 89 mph ... His curve is at 122km (75mph)
37stieb Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 Holy crap, I didnt think he threw that hard. His fastball velocity and that curve alone would be some consideration for a tryout in the Bigs
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 He looks like a Sergio Romo clone to me. Romo's slider only averages 78 MPH - which is about what this guys throwing that frisbee at... That's a decent comp.
fireballW Verified Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Could possibly make a good relief pitcher.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 While the movement on those pitchers are impressive, some of those pitchers went COMPLETELY around the plate, not even close to being a strike. Milton Bradley would have started a brawl
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 He was the 2010 1st overall pick in the KBO after winning a bunch of National Collegiate championships. Throws low to mid 90's as a reliever, had a bunch of injuries and missed all of this year. It is a hitters league but in comparison Rak has those horrible stats and Zach Stewart has gone over there and put up Psy (I just assume that is what their best pitcher award is called) numbers with a 2.80 ERA and 4.0 k/bb ratio in 112 innings.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 That ump strike out recoil dance though...

2lowitzki Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I watch Korean baseball.. However, that guy no longer throws that slider.. He changed to curveball.. The breaking angle is similar, but it is much slower.. It was like 80mph, but that breaking ball is now 74-75mph
