Serious: Is tonight's game the most important since 1994?

What's crazy is that it's WAY louder in the Dome than it sounds on the broadcast. Definitely the loudest I've ever heard RC. It's awesome.

Was anyone here for the Canada/US game at Rogers Centre? That 9th inning was amazing....best I've ever been to live. I suspect tonight will topple that with leaps and bounds.

Go f*** yourself.

He does have a point. Children do need to stay seated. Bring a colouring book or something to focus on.

The audio guy at sportsnet has to ride the levels so they don't peak and crackle on air that's why. I agree with every word you said but just letting y'all know why the audio isn't as loud on the broadcast.

Oh, I understand why the loudness can't be replicated on the broadcast. I was just pointing out that if you're watching at home, you just can't grasp how loud it truly is. It's amazing.

My god... if we lose I will burn every signle piece of Blue Jays crap I have and never watch a baseball game again in my life.

Well there's one positive to that outcome then.

(sorry I just had to)

Please parent your child at the game, nothing is worse than being at a game and some nose picking ankle-biter running around, yelling and eating candy without watching the game. Children are the worst.

Downvote.

Last really loud game I was at was Price's debut. Going to Saturday's game and got my playoff tickets so I hope it only gets louder from here on to November.

Is this a serious post? I hope not. Kids are the future players/fans and I love seeing them all at the park learning that experience...always.

And putting up with a little kid antics is a small price to pay.

On saturday when they Joey smoked that shot bottom 9 i turned to wife and screamed "its never f***ing over with this team!" She had to ask me what i said later when it got a little quieter.

Based on what?

Based on the illusion of momentum. If the Yanks win tonight they have a 40% chance of taking the division. It becomes a coin flip and the coin could flip the wrong way.

Does any one know how the division odds would change based on a Yankees/Jays win??

My guess is if the Jays win they have an 80% chance of winning the division, if they lose 60%....

Can you manipulate the Fangraphs calculator with what-ifs???

Guessing is just a bad idea... Blue Jays currently have an 89.4% chance of winning division vs Yankees 10.6%.

Good point

Let's just play the game

And I can't remember one I've been this excited about in over 20 MF years

I was at that game. Votto!

Last night was louder, but to be fair, I think that CAN-USA game only had like 38,000 in attendance or something. But it was damn loud too.

I was there too! Didn't Matt Stairs have a chance to win it in the bottom of the 9th? That was an awesome game.

There was a row of kids last night that were like the best damn fans in the stadium. Hopped up on sugar, unwavering in their "Let's go Blue Jays!" chants, locked in on every play, heckling the ump. It was great.

These kids are real fans.

Why? If you choose to have a child, take care of it, parent it, discipline it.... Don't just sit there while your kid has a temper tantrum and zone them out, that is the worst.

No s***. I don't want to speak for BigCecil, but I'm willing to bet he doesn't need your help with parenting advice.

Canadian players like Justin Morneau...and others from his time...attribute a lot of his love for baseball coming from watching and following the great Jays teams 87-93 as a kid.

Love to see them at the games getting jacked up on sugar and taking in the game of baseball.
