Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I'm sure 29 other teams would happily have Bautista playing RF for them. ftfy
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 ftfy Harper, Heyward, JD Martinez... Those are a few I would take over Bautista
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Bautista needs to set as side his ego and play 1B. He needs to do it for the betterment of the team. We need Pompey in RF to better our OF defence.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I disagree with your assessment. Jose has been below-average defensively, but not close to "an abortion". He has made several errors, yes. But so has Donaldson... and Pillar. Colabelo in LF was "an abortion", and Jose has not been close to that bad. You really seemed to have missed the point of his mental errors costing the team. I never once said that him letting balls go under his glove or his lack of range were the reasons why I labelled him as poor. There is a lot more that goes into evaluating defense than taking a quick look at how many errors he's made.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Post scores here, stick to the topic. f*** off.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 I think 18-13 gets us the division, going 4-3 vs the Yanks. Yanks would have to go 20-12.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 We have 6 vs Red Sox and 3 vs Braves. Anything worse than 7-2 won't cut it. Yanks have the Mets for 3.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 OK thanks, the prophet is real .. Shea is replaced. Hey douche, how about you upload an avatar before you start trash talking.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 As it stands, for 90 wins, Jays only need to go 16-15 rest of the way. Yanks need a bigger run, needing to go 18-14. Last night's game wasn't encouraging for the Yanks, as their offensive woes popped up again (especially when their only offense has been coming from Gregorius). Heck, A-Rod has declined so much, McCann isn't even being pitched to anymore (walked 3 times last night). Expect more of this.. the Yanks offense isn't good with A-Rod being worthless, and Gardner/Ellsbury struggling.
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Mark Teixeira's day-to-day bone bruise thing has now evolved into him needing crutches and it being "more than we thought" to the Yankees.

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 So 6-3 won't cut it? You think the Yankees are going to be on a real tear don't you? Well, I don't think they'll have a major bump in the road until the NYM series at Citi Field. They play easy opposition.

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 Yep. NY gets Archer this weekend.
