Like Reyes is a pillar of health. Its a costs savings for the next 2 years. Always risky paying players into their mid-30's, but I like this risk (plus can always move him off short later)

 

Oh the Reyes -> Tulo change is probably a big upgrade. Have to wait to see the whole deal though.

Well if you look at overall run prevention rather than starting pitching, relief pitching, and defense individually this does help by improving SS defense by a mile.

 

Also adding a decent pen arm.

I think what we know is that we can look forward to over-reactionary "told you he's made of glass and can't play on turf" posts when Tulo gets hit in the hand, and breaks a finger.

 

This is one of the few parks that Tulo can get traded to and it not hurt his fantasy value.
