Yeah, we all know AA has no idea how to finish up his roster, but the manager still needs to know how to work with what he has. That was just dumn.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Why is everyone surprised There are consequences to not signing experienced relievers Such as 4th blown lead and ruinong two promising arms If anyone should be fired its AA.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 Problem isnt the players it's the manager. No reason at all to take out Osuna and definitely not the out Cecil after 1 batter.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 OP has been trolling for 2 years. I'm not a troll or have trolled. Whine like a cry baby if you want. At least I am a Jays fan

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 He has to make up.for the past blown games He is trying to modernize how we use the bullpen, yet it has been a failure.
flafson Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 It's not on Gibby. If anything it shows we need to get Papelbon ASAP.
mtljaysfan Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Gibby's a bad bad manager. This loss is on him. He took out Osuna after a bloop singleyet yesterday he let Dickey s*** the bed too long.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 It's not on Gibby. If anything it shows we need to get Papelbon ASAP. And give up what though....bet they would want Osuna++
flafson Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 And give up what though....bet they would want Osuna++ No, they will want us to eat his salary.
Caper Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 How the f*** does Tampa bay get all these relievers?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 AA had the chance to improve the bullpen and he failed. There is no trades now I wouldn't let him ten feet of any of our young players or prospects We will just have to live with it and hope for the best
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 How the f*** does Tampa bay get all these relievers? They make it a priority in the off season
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 No, they will want us to eat his salary. If it just costs money then it should be done asap
xposbrad Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 If it just costs money then it should be done asap You are assuming that money is available. If the money was, they would have signed 1-2 BP guys in the offseason.
flafson Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 How the f*** does Tampa bay get all these relievers? They had the same pitching coach for 9 years, their pitching been lights out over that period.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Gibbons is trash. Always was. Always will be. Just have to hope Alex realizes that before it's too late.

Then AA and Gibbons won't be here next season...if the bullpen is the only thing holding us back from the playoffs they will spend or we are doomed
xposbrad Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Then AA and Gibbons won't be here next season...if the bullpen is the only thing holding us back from the playoffs they will spend or we are doomed We knew this before the season started, yet it still wasn't addressed. To hope that rookies just pan out without slowly integrating them is a huge gamble. If you know a problem exists, and don't fix it, you have to logically assume that money was the reason why they didn't improve the BP.

We knew it was a big gamble, we didn't know how it would pan out. It obviously seem like a stroke of genius with Travis and Osuna while a big question marks with Sanchez and Castro.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Our lineup is ok, our starters are so-so, but the pen is HORRIBLE. There's no way that we could potentially contend with this s*** pen. Thanks, AA.

Why do we need to hear this nonesense about rookies this and rookies that? Travis is doing fine. Pompey is doing fine. Norris is doing fine. These 3 guys did well at the minor league level up to at least double-A. It's totally different with Sanchez because he wasn't good in the minors. Castro and Osuna haven't even pitched a full season at A-ball. Now I know Osuna's been good, but he should be in Dunedin working his way up the system and upping his value as 'spect. Same with Castro. Anyway...
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Blame AA he built the roster, Gibbons is not perfect but he doesn't have a lot of options in the pen.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 get it out of your system people. Just dont bring it to the GDT tomorrow.
