Org, what you say is true but we don't have a very good pen imo. There is legit criticism and then there is idiot whining.

 

We're about middle of the pack by ERA and FIP, 7th by xFIP, they get lots of strikeouts (3rd in the majors in K/9) and don't give up a lot of walks (8th in BB/9). I think sometimes the criticism is warranted when a guy goes wild and it hurts us, but a lot of times they give up leads as a result of pitching a lot of innings due to our legitimately lackluster starting rotation. Bullpens are usually very volatile, so for the pieces that we've built ours with I'm not discontent.
