No kidding, will he ready for Tuesday you think?

 

I'm gonna say Edwin will sit for the whole Atlanta series. He hurt the finger on his glove hand, so its not a good idea to have him manning 1st right now.

 

Smoak and Cola will fill in at 1st just fine. Atlanta sux

Good thing Price is matched up vs Miller on Wed.

 

 

Christ don't worry about match ups. It's the f***ing Braves man. They've lost 12 straight at home... 12!!! We should be able to help them accomplish their new goal of getting the top draft pick for next season

ACK....we went into Philly since break on a roll and went 1-1 against their suck ass team.

 

Id be thrilled with 2 out of 3 against ATL.

I expect at least 2 out of 3 against ATL, losing that series after taking 3 of 4 in NY just shouldn't happen.

Listening to old Wilner Jays Talk from this week. Why? Because its an off day and I'm desperate and its dead at my office.

 

A sampling of the suggestions and questions of note:

 

"With Tulo out can we play Martin at SS cause he wanted to play there at WBC? That way we can get Navarro's bat in the line up."

 

"Has there ever been a team with 3 guys with more than 100 RBI?"

 

"Can we pitch Stroman on 4 days rest?"

 

"The Jays knew they would lose on Sunday".

 

No wonder Wilner has brain damage.

I don't know if I'd use the word "thrilled". It would certainly be good. Winning 2 out of 3 is almost always good. But losing this series would be a big disappointment, unless the Yankees get smoked as well. That would take a bit of the sting out of it.

2 wins in each series would have the team finish 12-7. (94 wins)

 

Yanks would have to go 16-4 to tie.

What tiebreaker? there isn't one but if tied we would be playing at home for the decider.

 

I meant for home field. Should have been more clear.

The Phillies were also on an ascent after the ASB though compared to the Braves.

 

Still, a potential trap series, we need to plaster these f***ers into the ground. I'd love to see Donaldson reach 40 HR in this series.

Braves are a mess right now. At least the Phillies were actually playing well at the time.. the Braves just have absolutely stunk post All Star Break.

But and sorry in advance. What is the highest HR total for 3 players combined in one year? And what's the highest benchmark high for those 3, like did they all hit 30,31,32,33 etc ?

 

Is there records we have or might break on both?

 

Also what's the most home runs by team in one year?
