KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 more like Anthony Alford starting OF Isn't that still far away?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Isn't that still far away? Roberto Osuna and Miguel Castro say: "lulz"
S33n Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Even if they're going for something close to that, then we should feel pretty happy. I'm considering just getting lots of tickets for a bunch of games down the stretch, if I can't make it they'll be easy to sell or give away. Time's running out though. Better figure it out soon, everything is selling out.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Well for next year I suspect he'll be somewhat healthy.. Hah! Good joke! Needed it this morning Man, every now and then.
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Another option might be to not offer arb to Revere and spend his salary somewhere else. Some sort of Pompey/Pillar/Saunders time share could work out well if Saunders is actually healthy and productive. Ya but if they're going that route I'd rather let go of Colabello or Smoak. I like Revere off the bench way more than those two.
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Enjoy Fenway! It's pretty cool there, although most people consider it a dump lol. Thanks! It's my first time going, needless to say I'm excited!

DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Isn't that still far away? Earliest he'd be up is September next year (unless there are a ton of injuries).
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I'm not sure if anyone caught the two Stephen A smith Yankees are fine rants with Chip on First take the past two weeks. It's absolutely hilarious how he completely discounted the jays. I'm so looking forward to listening to him ramble about it tonight. I know he's a piece of s*** but it's going to be funny hearing his ********.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Thanks! It's my first time going, needless to say I'm excited! I highly recommend you do the tour of Fenway Park. It's very cool. I enjoyed it as much, if not more than the game itself. Boston is a wicked City. I'd also recommend the hop on, hop off bus tour. We used that as our taxi around the City. Enjoy.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 The Jays need to try to score first this series, I think the Yanks will really press to get out to early leads, that is the key to this series imo.

Yeah... a Yankee who missed two full seasons.
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Any update on EE? A banged up EE rarely bodes well.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 worried about this series to be honest, yanks will be looking for revenge this weekend. Their pitching shut us down in NY, don't think we shut them down as well this series.

The Yanks are still a good team it's not going to be easy, they have not won a thing yet. Over confidence is the enemy, never underestimate your opponent.

Hutch is scary and Severino looks like a good pitcher. Hopefully they Jays can baptize him Sunday.

ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 The key is to get into the bullpen tonight, they are gassed.

They're a top 5 team in baseball.
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Even if the Jays were to lose this series, if you watched the Yankees series against the Indians...you'd probably not be too worried. They are free falling.

They are free falling. Too early to say that, all teams go through poor spells, even the best teams lose 40% of their games. Their pitching will keep them in most games.

They are free falling. Nope. The Yankees rotation is pretty good. The reason they sucked was because their offense was doing s***. The Jays right now are overachieving, as all teams are when they are on a hot streak. It will be a tight finish between the two teams and possibly Baltimore.
