I thought Drabek and Delabar pitched pretty well, other than the one mistake drabek made. Delabar was locating his low fastball really well. would've liked to see better control from Sanchez but it was his first go so I'll cut him some slack. A lot of good contact from the hitters today too. Overall, I liked what I saw.

Think of the benefit to your blood pressure though.

He'll rage at the radio or even a game channel type feed.

Just read through this thread, and I have to say I am pretty disappointed with the material/quality. Jonn is a f***ing douche.

If this thread is any indication of how the board will be when the real season starts, I probably wont even bother coming here very often.

I think the mods need to clean this place up a bit.

How many pitches? GD says 7.

Still trying to figure out what this was in reference to.

We have a perfectly good 2-hole hitter in Bautista. Martin should be hitting 5th. I see a lot of double plays in Martin's future.

An actual nugget of intelligent contribution. Shocking.

Eh, wasn't that great. Seems like your average GDT that I'll avoid all year.

Was it really unreasonable to assume you were making fun of me somehow?

The little alterations that Pillar made in his stance, hands closer to the body slightly higher, slightly more open, slightly higher leg kick seem to actually let him get the bat to the zone quicker. I'd thought his bat was really slow to the zone last year and if the changes are legitimate and we see them over the next two or three weeks that might make for a much better offensive performance from him.

Oh shut up the ignore button is your friend. I was f***ing around. Since you guys are such babies I will keep my negative comments to myself. Or atleast try harder.

Lmao, that'll probably be the greatest underrated .gif of Spring Training.

Lol at this thread, what a mess. Its the first game of spring. This Jonn guy is trolling right ? Not adding anything to the discussion just insufferable nonsense.

Just some guys trying to be funny or trying to be "the life of the party" types. The jokes are old and no longer come across as funny but they still continue with it maybe not realizing how they are coming across. It helps by putting them on ignore however when others keep quoting the individual you are once again subjected to seeing their nonsense. Just wish there was a way to have that quote not show up at all but that is not possible as far as I am aware. Anyway, it's like junk mail, you can slow it down but never eradicate it totally.

This site has some great contributors and it is interesting to see the opposing views at times however the GDT specifically can be quite a challenge at times. I can understand feelings of disappointment in a bad result but to some, they live and die for each pitch/at-bat/error and that takes away from the experience of fans being together virtually supporting their team. The "fire/dfa/moron/idiot" repetitive comments are just too much at times but sadly I keep coming back to the GDTs.

Anyway, it was great to see some baseball once again and I am anxious for the Bluejays to get into season form. I am hoping to see some exciting baseball from all of them more-so the new comers.

It shows he has his head in the game even if it is only a ST game. I saw the initial action but it sure did not look as funny as this - love it. Can't thank the individual as he is in the special cheering section (the IL).

Anyway, it's a new season so I will let them all out and rebuild that section as I go through this season. ;)

Interesting to read. I only really notice extreme batting stance changes (i.e., Colby). I'm sure no one has made a comparison gif for Kevin Pillar, but this post makes me want to see one. If Pillar can become the hands-down fourth outfielder, that would be a secretly great improvement to the roster.
