Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Nose used to turn up at $20. I guess I'd pay $20 nowadays though, although I'm sure there are still $10 lots within walking distance of the RC. Used to be a $10 like one block east of Steam Whistle... now it's a condo There's one on the northeast corner(Lakeshore and Bay?) beside the ACC...5 bucks on Wkds and after 6 on weekdays. Well, as long as there's no event at the ACC, then it rises to 20 bucks.

Governator Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Ryan Webb can be had for cheap right now, with 3 long arms in the pen is he a decent replacement option for one of Redmond or Hendriks?

So much depth, except in pitching, they should be looking trade, same goes for the Bosox. I bet Uribe's back in tonight.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) Tom Brady's pitch wasn't that bad by ceremonial first pitch standards but pretty underwhelming from a professional ball tosser but what gets me is what a fashion victim he is. Look, I get that sometimes you put on a sweater and realize later that you don't need it and that your only immediate option is to tie it around yourself and look like at tool but come on? Going out to the field like that? There's no way that wasn't planned. http://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/744788 Edited April 14, 2015 by KingKat

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 This is pretty bad ass. Seems like the kind of thing that should be forbidden in his contract too. http://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/744880
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 It's Weams! He has the yips. It's a baseball-specific anxiety disorder thing. I also have the yips, or some variant of it, but not for baseball. I actually play the piano and I used to play it seriously. Although I always had trouble with certain fingering/wrist movements. It was very hard to explain to other people, but basically my hands refused to play certain passages. If you asked me to play that passage individually right from the start of the passage, I could do it. But if you asked me to start, say, a few bars before the passage, I would not be able to do it. My wrist locked up. Also when I was younger in elementary school I had a lot of trouble pronouncing words if they stared with certain letters. So if you asked me to start a sentence with the word "For" or "How", I'd have a bit of trouble getting the words come out of my mouth. Nowadays I don't have a problem!
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Does Rickey Romero have the yips? Seems to fit the definition of sudden loss of command.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Does Rickey Romero have the yips? Seems to fit the definition of sudden loss of command. Ricky Romero has no cartillage in either of his knees so he can't plant firmly or push off.
