Only thing they are going to find in his body is rice, beans, and Ang's favourite goat. It explains the anger

We agreed to not insult our loved ones. I respect you, but you broke a very important agreement for me.

Bad Buchholz showed up against the Braves:

5.0+ IP, 12H, 4ER, 1BB, 6Ks.. I know he might be working on something, but that is not a good line, especially against a bad Braves team, especially one of backups and AAA bats..

6 K's to one walk is 5 innings is pretty good for someone apparently "working on something".

You might have gone over your especially quota in that last sentence.

Drabek is no longer a Blue Jay apparently.

and the Kyle Drabek era is over. Not what everyone was expecting 5 years ago

Thank f***ing god!

You say that as if he's been a big part of the Jay's failure, he's just a busted prospect.

I mean if they traded Navarro Thank f***ing god! When they moved Lawrie for Donaldson Thank f***ing god! When Rays signed Juan Francisco and Orioles Nolan Reimold, Thank f***ing god!

O'Brien has had major issues this month in throwing the ball back to the pitcher, so the Diamondbacks are going to keep him away from the catcher position for the time being. "I think he's going to play some outfield (once the minor league season starts) and catching isn't out of the question, but we're still talking internally to figure out what's best for him," farm director Mike Bell said. The D'Backs were reluctant over the winter to pursue an upgrade at catcher mainly because they believed O'Brien would be ready to take over at the position in short order. Obviously, they didn't envision the 24-year-old developing a case of the yips. O'Brien was re-assigned to minor league camp earlier this week.

Lol

The dude can't even throw the ball back to the pitcher, how do they expect him to throw it at home plate?

Either case, common Stewart trade for Navarro! Evan Marshall isn't that important to you.

Pretty sure throwing from the outfield is easier. Just aim to the base and their as hard as you can. It's those finesse throws that can get into your head. Look what happened to Chuck Knoblauch. Dude was gold glove caliber, behind Robbie Alomar, and just completely lost the ability to make the throe from 2B to first. It was amazing to see.

Disagree. Throwing the ball back to the catcher is basic; there's nothing challenging about it most times you'll do it. It's like an NBA player suddenly struggling with walking and dribbling.

Sometimes that's cause of aliens, though.

worked out ok for Dale Murphy ... (not that I expect O'Brien to go on to win a couple of MVPs)

I find it pretty weird that Papelbon seems to really want to come here.

Who else would want his contract right now? It's not like the Phillies are going anywhere that he wants to be part of.

What i do find interesting, after having both Castro and Osuna come up, where would we put Papelbon?

Why would Papelbon care about who can or can't take on his contract? I just find it interesting that he's shown a strong desire to join the Jays of all teams.

Ya it is a bit odd. Maybe he's seeking some sort of revenge on the Red Sox.

He didn't show a desire really, the media made a case that Toronto might want him and they asked him, he said sure, why not. They may have asked about 10 other teams and he would have said the same answer.

AA watched Papelbon yesterday.

Papelbon smiled when he was told that Anthopoulos was in the house.

“Huh, interesting,” he said

Okay, what if the Jays take both Papelbon and Howard of the Phillies hands for a fraction of those salaries. Do they help us? Who's better at 1B defensively, Howard or EE. I think EE. Then we don't have to wait for Smoak to pan out or not. Howard would certainly, as DH, smack 25 dingers and bat .240. That'd be a lineup.

Plus, grabbing Papelbon would keep one of the young bucks in the minors to delay service time. Win win.

Howard isnt a good ball player..at all. Why do people keep suggesting him. He could be free and I dont want him.

What? He's good offensively. He's having a decent spring, and he's injury free. If he's free you don't want that for a DH? Okay.

Below average is the new good.
