labadee Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Did Mastro miss a hit and run call there? I feel like he did. he had all of the right infield to hit to with the shift on
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Did Mastro miss a hit and run call there? I feel like he did. Probably not a hit and run with two strikes.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Left calf strain for Reimold. Ugh.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Some slightly good news on Reimold. Left calf strain, day-to-day. Could've been a lot worse..

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Another walk by Johnson.. he's walked more this game than the god-awful JPA did last year..
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Love this ump. Except for that high strike on muni, he's been somewhat immune to molina's framing bs.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I'm loving Dan already! He seems to be "at one" with the strike zone.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Can we trade for Headley? Francisco sucks.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Seems odd taking Mark B out after 93 pitches.....quick 5th inning. Really hope nothing is wrong.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Johnson a better eye than Francisco it seems. Missed two fastballs in the centre.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Can we trade for Headley? Francisco sucks. I presume his contract allows us to demote him to AAA if we chose?

Ya I guess, but I don't agree with it as the "low note" just came in in the name of Jenkins. RHH don't own Mark B Thank god for Melky making that catch.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Is Francisco uncoachable? I'm sure he's been told to lay off those pitches he keeps whiffing on but it doesn't seem like he's able to absorb it. I'm sure he's been told that throughout his career which is why he hasn't stuck around too long.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Holy s***, Chad. Jesus, dude. Get him out of there.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Molina is an allstar against us.

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I presume his contract allows us to demote him to AAA if we chose? Nope! The Big Juan is out of options. That's how we ended up with him... and why the Reds and Braves also had to part with him.

RHH don't own Mark B Thank god for Melky making that catch. It's MB he's been battling all game and every game. I don't see why they yanked him with the bottom of the order up especially for Jenkins of all RPs. I guess the pen is rested the break is up coming and MB will be in the ASG so maybe that played a bit in Gibbon's mind? 93 pitches, might throw 10-20 in the ASG? Maybe MB was just tiring or Gibby is playing percentages again? Maybe trying to get Jenkins a clean inning which he seems incapable of?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Nope! He's out of options. That's how we ended up with him... and why the Reds and Braves also had to part with him. s***. I thought he had been outright released and signed a minor league contract with us. Crap
