JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 It was mostly McGowan forgetting how to throw strikes to two batters and when he remembered how to he gave up a 3-run shot.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Gibby's been asking for help with his bullpen management all year, AA's just too busy with the waiver wire to realize it. In fact, AA's probably telling Gibbons how to mismanage his bullpen.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 In all seriousness though, I have no clue why Cecil was taken out.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Lol we blew a 5-1 lead So pathetic Was it also pathetic that the Rays were down 5-1? It goes both ways.
GATC Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Rasmus is a bit of a tard, that was right down the middle
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Colby Rasmus ladies and gentlemen.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Zaun Cherry calling out game calling.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Gibbons is doing a fine job, it's not his fault this team sucks. I don't disagree. I like Gibbons, but I still think he's been making some seriously iffy decisions with the BP.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Zaun Cherry calling out game calling. He's right.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Zaun is right, he should have thrown a fastball at 3-2 to Longoria
Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I don't disagree. I like Gibbons, but I still think he's been making some seriously iffy decisions with the BP. When he only has like two reliable guys right now, most calls will be called questionable. He can't control the fact that the guys in the pen have been putrid.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I have to agree with him. If McGowan gets beat on the payoff pitch it's only a run. Why try tricking/fooling the hitter especially when McGowan has been inconsistent with the off speed stuff?
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Rasmus is a bit of a tard, that was right down the middle no it was clearly off the plate...
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Hamstring strain/pull for Kawi. Day-to-day. So glad the AS break is right around the corner.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 He's right. Does Rodriguez hit the ball out if McGowan puts it where it's supposed to? Issue is command, he walked 2 guys prior to Rodriguez and missed his spot again, it just so happened that this time he missed in the middle of the strike zone.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 How has this guy not been banned yet, is beyond me. for once I agree with you
labadee Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 wow i left for an hour and it's tied!?!? come on jays!
comeon sense Verified Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Unf***ing believable. McGowan who gives up bombs when he throws his crappy slider, compared to his 95-98 mph fastball! Just like against Sale, and the white sox to viciedo...comeon maaan.
