eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 McGowan has the velocity and the stuff is still decent. It's all endurance with him. Fantastic reliever.
S33n Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 McGowan has been f***ing nails out of the pen! God damn! What a huge boost he's been. He's last years Steve Delabar, with the ability to go more than 1IP.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Is it just me but i love him as a 2B you can tell he played there in the minors so much more comfortable there He can play much deeper cause of that arm. Plus that range. Oof. EE!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Big inning right here!
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I don't understand the hate for Dickey. That was a ******** inning and he pitched around Morales. He gets lots of ground ball double plays but good job Dusty People are s***ing on Dickey for an inning heavily influenced by a BS call. He did a good job today.
shortstop Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 my bad, didn't see iluv's post...
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Putting McGowan in the pen is the best thing for him and the team. His SP stamina is gone and can now let it fly in the pen.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 He can play much deeper cause of that arm. Plus that range. Oof. EE! Agreed he has been an amazing 2B and is hitting better at 2B then 3B strangely
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 It's not review-able... Hit By Pitch. Those plays for which there is a possibility that a pitched ball touches a batter, or his clothing. See, e.g., Rules 5.09(a) and 6.08(. Any doubt as to whether a pitched ball hit the bat (as opposed to the batter or his clothing) should be resolved by the Home Plate Umpire at that moment as hitting the bat and not the batter, and the Umpire should declare a fair or foul ball under the circumstances. Notwithstanding the foregoing, whether the ball was in the strike zone when it touched the batter, and whether the batter made any attempt to avoid being touched by the ball, shall not be reviewable. See Rule 6.08(. Good look up, I find that to be rather confusing. Similar situations on the field are reviewable but not something that obvious? Kinda strange.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 If our pen was a lot shittier Dickey would have an ERA around 6. He's been bailed out so many times. Loup and McGowan have saved him like 6 earned runs over the last two starts alone.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Man Lawrie has potential for gold gloves at two positions (not at the same time, or this year obviously) f*** it, GG at BOTH 3B and 2B this year... It's voted on by total idiots, so they could do something that crazy... f***ing Raphael Palmero won the GG at 1B in 1999 when he played 1B for 28 games and DH'd the rest of the time, these people are drunk with power... Actually, f*** it... Give Lawrie the GG at catcher and right field, completely prove how stupid the f***ing award is.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Nolasco is taking it for the team here.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 You guys are f***ed...... he retires 11 in a row, gets f***ed by a terrible route from Bats and the Ump and you jump on him now? f*** this stupid f***ing GDT ********. Calm down please. It's the same f***ing show every single game with this guy. 5.1IP is unacceptable from him.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 dp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dustin is unreal in the bp! I got shitted on for suggesting McGowan go to the BP, happy that they were wrong
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 FF my god you are s***ing the f***ing bed

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 a terrible bus crash for both teams? i hope both of those teams die in a car crash those fat yanks Nice. After all of the dumbf*** trolls that pass through here like Metallijay and Zee, and all the raging and bs that has ever been said here, this board still manages to consistently find new lows. Well done.

Yep. that's why it was a double win when they got Stroman and Hendriks up. They had a choice of a new SP and it gave the BP a RHP upgrade it sorely needed (thanks to Santos and Delabar.)

I'd just like him to go more than 6 innings, he should be capable of it. He's only gone more than 7 innings once.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 People are s***ing on Dickey for an inning heavily influenced by a BS call. He did a good job today. He needs to finish stronger. These late game implosions are not acceptable.

Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I'd just like him to go more than 6.1 innings, he should be capable of it. He's only gone more than 7 innings once. Same with me one time i want to see him go at least 7 but no
