Well its almost August and were coming up at the trade deadline. Its not to early. We need to go into New York and steal a couple games. If they get swept all of the sudden the blow it up topic will come up again. You can't afford to give up 3 games to the Yankees right now.

I should note that even when BTS and co were M.I.A and the Rays were in the gutter a few months ago, and everyone was laughing about how bad the Rays suddenly became, I was probably the lone voice on here that constantly pointed out that they're still the Rays, and how that ******* franchise is never out of it.

 

They made up a ten game deficit in September a few years ago, and people were writing them off and laughing about them in May.
