If I were contending I wouldn’t want Bellinger on my roster. And if I were rebuilding I’d rather have Sale to hopefully trade if he comes back and has a couple of good starts.

 

So Sale in any context.

I'm contending but yeah, figure once Sale comes off the IL, he could be a nice addition to my rotation if he's 100%.

Id take Sale probably, but a lot more risky. Currently Bellinger is on pace for a good season, may get to 20/20

Sale is 34 and has barely pitched since 2019. I think he might be done, physically.

 

Bellinger since May 1 has no homers and a 70 wRC+. Looks like he's still awful and just had a hot April.

Sale has only thrown like 105 innings since his age-30 season. Crazy how everyone calling him a time bomb because he's twiggy with a violent-looking delivery was basically right.

He's got a 123 wrc+ for the season, with an 18% K rate, down from 26% the last two seasons.

 

You are not taking into account he was injured from May 15 to June 15. He played a few games after the contusion before going on the IL and most players need a few games to get going after coming back from injury.

Witt for me. Maybe one of those guys will really work out.

 

I remember when I sent a bunch of specs for JRam. Only one of the group worked out and I have JRam. Witt has the potential to surpass.
