But you can't assume health for these guys! Michael King had a broken elbow pitching. He's a massive injury risk. Dustin May is on the ropes as a SP with his injury history.

May's K rate has always been disappointing and you can replace a guy with Bello's numbers in most leagues.

CBS sports posted an article last week that downplayed his catching abilities and stated if JD leaves it would open the DH spot for him to play more. They listed him below Realmuto and William Contrares based on that assumption.

I read it also. The Dodgers are thinking of taking advantage of his bat at 3b or LF I believe it was. The Dodgers have other catchers coming up or sign one I guess.. It all depends what happens in FA.

 

Nothing locked in stone, just depends on FA and player options.

I'm not sure on his injury risk, but how would it relate to Baz or May who are coming off of surgery? Are they more likely to pitch through it next year? Is Tommy John likely for King? I don't know what kind of injury King is pitching through.

May had TJS and then had to have revisionary TJS.

 

Baz I think just has the one TJS.

 

I feel like Baz is slightly cleaner but the other two are as risky as it gets.

You’re a relative newb. Not a fantasy OG here. I used to own all the leagues I joined, expect my BORED draft didn’t go well. Other than that, I dropped LOD when I had a lot going on in life and was flamed as hard as one could be for not wanting to rebuild, or just abandoning the team (which wasn’t true clearly)

 

So challenge accepted, that’s what I did for like the last 3-4 years in 2 leagues
