P2F Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2020 Author Posted January 21, 2020 I'd probably roll the dice on Hankins as well. VV isn't keeper-worthy.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Ehh, probably Hankins. Not a big VV fan and it seems like in a 20 teamer you might be able to find a replacement on the waiver wire for VV? Yeah there should be similar pitchers available on waivers once the season begins. Thanks. VV's K rate looks enticing, but he's been a huge disappointment. His FIP is way too high.

Laika Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 Such a quiet fall from grace for VV. I remember when he was hot s*** in 2016 with that 10.50 K rate. He still misses bats and he hasn't lost velocity but it just doesn't work as well as it could for some reason.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 In a 14 team dynasty with 300 dollar salary caps, how much is a 66 dollar Bryce Harper worth? That’s 22 percent of your budget on 1 guy. He increases by 3 bucks, or 1 percent of your budget, each year too. Kind of a tough question to answer but someone wants to trade him to me for Taylor Rodgers, Khrush Davis and a pick. They might throw in some money too. Appreciate any insight!

FanGraphs has an auction calculator that will give you roto dollar values.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 FanGraphs has an auction calculator that will give you roto dollar values. I totally forgot about that. I’ll try it out and see what dollar value it gives him.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Thanks for all the advice the past couple weeks. I traded Blackmon for the O’Neil Cruz package and then traded for Harper. Harper’s price is nuts but at the same time the league rules make for a pretty boring auction draft devoid of talent. Got him to throw in enough money that I should be able to keep Harper through his age 30 season no problem.
KennerKid Verified Member Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Any very serious owners here interested in a spot in a pretty serious keeper league ?
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Out of one (1) of these 3 to be a SP for 7X7 Dynasty, which one? Logan Allen (currently RP, In Fantrax, I think he will start?) Joey Wentz SP, Jordan Montgomery SP/RP? Thanks!

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Probably Allen. Thanks, I appreciate it! I was thinking of PM you, but I thought I had bothered you enough LOL. Allen was who I was leaning but I also see upside in Montgomery... Thanks again!
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 I would like some outside advice on ranking these pitchers for H2H, 7X7 . I have my internal rankings, but never hurts to hear outside opinions. Please also consider, if the pitcher is at the moment projected to be in an AL East hitter park or a AL central pitchers park, or NL etc. I am thinking LONG term dynasty league points value and trade value if I want to move them. Current rankings and MLB ETA is not relevant. Just best chance to be a valuable Fantasy asset. Thanks in advance In no particular order: Khris Bubic, SP KC, Jordan Balazovic SP Twins, Lewis Thorpe, RP, Twins, Tyler Ivey SP HOU, Alek Manoah SP Jays, Adrian Houser, RP/SP Brewers. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Bubic, Balazovic, Manoah, Houser, Thorpe, Ivey Thanks! I appreciate it! We had the #1 same, after that we were a little off...
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Thanks! I appreciate it! We had the #1 same, after that we were a little off... I'd flip Balasovic and Bubic.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 That's aggressive and homer. Only if you dont believe in the talent
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Only if you dont believe in the talent I hope you don't jinx this one is all I'm saying. Manoah can leap frog them both by this time next year, nobody knows?

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Josh Lindblom or Kevin Gausman? Gausman in the Giants stadium should be pretty solid right?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Josh Lindblom or Kevin Gausman? Gausman in the Giants stadium should be pretty solid right? Theoretically but if Kevin Gausman pitches at all this season its likely in an Arizona spring training ballpark that tend to be very unforgiving. It certainly won’t be in the Bay Area who laid down some of the most strict laws during this quarantine.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 That’s a good point I didn’t think of that
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 HTH Dynasty leagues with OBP, SLG% 1b, 2b, 3B etc Trea Turner or Lindor? Ranks in order if you could have one: Vaugn, Carlson, Kelenic? Thanks!

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Need quick turn around on this one please guys: Dynasty, HTH These are pitchers scoring categories: Holds (HLD) 1 Pitching Inherited Runners Stranded (IRS) 1 Pitching Quality Starts (QS) 1 Pitching Saves (SV) 1 Pitching Strikeouts Pitched (K) 1 Pitching Wins (W) 1 Pitching Earned Run Average (ERA) 1 Pitching Strikeouts Pitched Per Nine Innings (K/9) 1 Pitching Walks Allowed Per Nine Innings (BB/9) 1 Pitching WHIP Ratio (WHIP) Would you do this deal? Greyson Rodriguez & Jordyn Adams(CF prospect Angels) plus 1-2 NDP 2020 for: Sandy Alcantra, Ethan Hankins (SP), and Tanner Houck SP, plus 1-5 NPD 2020 Fair, one side way stronger, depends, loco? Thanks!
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 First side easy if I’m reading that right. 1-2 is Austin Martin or Tork? Rodriguez is a stud, Houck and Hankins are relievers
