SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Tulo costing 7000 tomorrow vs Wood at Coors Field. Im curious to see what happens on DK - looks like they are raising prices across the board so we can't afford an all star team of hitters anymore lol
theblujay Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Its gonna be really close...Need the W though lets go Castro
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Kemp coming through would be nice.

Rosario is at 5300 on DK tomorrow because of Coors.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 So close to big money in FD tonight. 40/1381 in $10 tournament.

Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 good for you bike makes sense that you were too scared to play me

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Tomorrow I think I'll follow JFaS's optimizer to a tee.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 If jays_fever doesn't post for a few days he's probably AFK grieving because I ate his babies tonight
nmrch Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) Interesting night, losing night overall but cashed in the majority of leagues because most of the wins came in the 1 dollar 100 player leagues and the losses came in the higher stakes 20 and 40 player league. FInished 11/20 and 21/40 in a bunch of leagues. Edited April 10, 2015 by nmrch
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Masterson saved me. Actually Kennedy getting hurt really helped. Need to factor that probability of getting hurt into choosing pitchers!
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I wonder if McAllister is a good value tomorrow. Tigers, but still...he may be the next Carrasco.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I wonder if McAllister is a good value tomorrow. Tigers, but still...he may be the next Carrasco. I'm guessing McAllister-McHugh will end up being optimal. The strikeouts make Houston a great matchup for DFS pitchers.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I played three $1 games, two tourneys and a 50/50 (just getting a better feel for them, so not risking much) Early Tourney: 499/4465 (2.50) Late Tourney: 1225/22986 (3.00) Late 50/50 (JFaS FGDC): 45/100 (1.80)

Gio vs Phillies should be optimal. I might run Brett Anderson out there. I doubt McHugh in Texas vs. the Rangers lineup (Prince, Choo, Martin, Moreland, Odor all LHB) comes out of the machine.

Anderson and Gio are probably good picks for the whole day. Even with the lefties, McHugh still seems like a value considering that Bud Norris is $400 more and there are no cheap values (although I am a Hector Noesi guy).
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Ah, didn't know you were talking about just afternoon.

I almost wonder if Anderson and Fiers might be the best choices, or even a risky pick in Walker.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Ah, didn't know you were talking about just afternoon. Do you think it makes sense to play both sessions individually? You get two distinct player pools but the best lineups don't stand out as much. Looks like a lot of rain tomorrow all over. I almost wonder if Anderson and Fiers might be the best choices, or even a risky pick in Walker. Ooh I like Walker this year. Fiers seems expensive. Wade Miley-Chase Anderson is a great Howie value duo.

BrianV Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Any thoughts on starting a new FD thread daily with a templated first post that gives some detail for potential new players? This one is starting to grow a bit long in the tooth, IMO.

Purely for the win I really like Houston today. They beat lefties up and I don't like Holland at all. Houston and the Over seems like an okay non DFS gambling play. Lots of overs today I think.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Hard call aside from McAllister. Noesi is junk. At least McHugh and Holland both have the talent to shut down any lineup.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 JFaS, the DK lineup is unaffordable and has to include hitters from three teams. We can't quite do the all Coors squad.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Does anyone have a preference between larger and smaller 50/50's? My initial thought is larger the better, but that's pure speculation on my part.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I was going to make a 5-way winner take all and invite you guys but I accidentally made it all day so I pulled out at the lineup stage. If you get an email/invite for some reason, then don't join. Unless you want to do it anyway but I'm not in it.
LTR Verified Member Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Rotowire is missing szczur for some reason so my system takes last available salary. I'll fix that part. Did you switch to Rotowire for the wind info?
