  1. I watch the Jays on MLB.tv with an IP address that resolves to Toronto, so you should be OK. Does anyone know if they will black out the playoff games?
  2. Any thoughts on who will be starting the Saturday and Sunday games? I plan to go to both... I'm hoping to see Buehrle and Price, but I also heard they may call up Hutch again in time for the weekend. What are the rumors? Nothing yet on the Probably Pitchers page: http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/news/probable_pitchers/index.jsp?c_id=tor
  3. Apparently postseason.tv doesn't use the same camera angles as the broadcast feed, and no play by play or commentary. Seems like a bit of a half-assed version...
  4. I pulled that from the mlb.tv page. I suppose I could VPN, but I still don't like that they are trying to force me into a satellite subscription. The only reason I use mlb.tv is because I don't have one in the first place...
  5. Cool, thanks for the feedback. As for why we want the Jersey - why not? We're in Toronto anyways. Standing in line for 30 minutes or an hour isn't a big deal....
  6. I assume it's Rogers? I just realized that MLB.tv blacks out the postseason games. Which means, if the Jays make it I won't be able to watch unless I drop the money for a satellite subscription, and that's not going to happen ;(
  7. I have tickets to the Aug 30 game against the Tigers where they are giving away the red Jersey. How early do you need to show up typically to get one? We have the time, and we were planning at spending some time around Rogers Center before the game anyway, perhaps catch some BP if they are having it, eat lunch etc... So, we'll aim to be there when the gates open, but presumably there's a lineup before that for the giveaway?
  8. Wow, apparently I'm blind. That 'Blog' link had never, ever registered to me. Thanks!
  9. Ok, so I am quite new into Blue Jays fandom. It started last August when MLB.tv was on for $12 for September and the postseason, so I impulse grabbed it. I ended up watching about 20 games last fall. This year I'm keeping a closer eye on the Jays, but there is no way I can fit watching all or even most games into my schedule. While this forum is great for what it is, I'm hoping to find a site that provides good wrap ups / summaries of the games. Network sites like ESPN, TSN, etc. give summaries, but they are always a bit cut-and-dry. Any other recommended sites?
  10. Yesterday was another loser for me. I went with JFaS's FGDC lineups that he generated just before first pitch yesterday. Grand total of 31 points on FD which put me just below the cash cutoff. Hoping for better luck today before my account runs dry!
  11. Yeah, I feel like JFaS needs to add in a new set of picks to his optimals that has Stanton blacklisted until he starts hitting balls. He's not having a great start offensively.
  12. Oh, don't remind me. That was my day to teach, and I spent the day in class rather than setting lineups.
  13. I've had him on several lineups now, and I've never gotten *anything* from him.
  14. Well, halfway through my innings. Got 10 points on FD from Haren, but very little production from anyone else. I'm using JFaS's FDGC lineups, and things aren't looking very promising.
  15. Just noted that. And no ERs yet either. Perhaps we'll see 6 out of him...
