G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 OK see you tomorrow. Need to wash this one from our minds. Yep Everybody let's calm down The GDT is as much of a s*** show as the game was. I guess that's how it works sometimes
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Well, that didn't go as planned if we had all said our worst case scenarios, this would be worse than everyone but BTS' scenario.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Tomorrow is gonna be tough. Alex Cobb is a bad motherf***er. Hutch's got this.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I've used the ignore feature, that's over. Cobb and Hutch should be an excellent matchup?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 if we had all said our worst case scenarios, this would be worse than everyone but BTS' scenario. Yep Dickey terrible Reyes hurt (?) Goins useless Thole useless Bad defense Jeffress a disaster we seem to cling to anyway Wow

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Tomorrow is gonna be tough. Alex Cobb is a bad motherf***er. Hutchison appears to be a bad ass himself.
bzapple Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Well, that game sucked, but there will be plenty more. I'll probably miss the rest of this series because of how much work I have this week but...the home opener will be fun. Baseball, though. It's a great thing. Time to take a break and then catch some Sonny Gray later.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Yep Dickey terrible Reyes hurt (?) Goins useless Thole useless Bad defense Jeffress a disaster we seem to cling to anyway Wow I wish I could say that it couldn't get worse, but I dont think I could believe it in my heart.
Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Ok sooooooo, good game, we almost had them there. Yay Kratz! Hutch time baby

jayswin11 Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 need to split this series otherwise the season is over.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Observations from today's game: Jays hitters were very poorly disciplined and did everything Price wanted them too. Instead of taking close pitches off the plate, they were swinging at them, while leaving the meatballs and making s*** contact, or right through them. 8 walks from the starting pitching... Pretty much says it all regarding the pitching staff. Nice to see our lack of bench depth being needed on the field in the first inning of the year. wtf Edwin? Wtf Jeffress? Ah Dickey... Only would the Jays trade bigtime pieces for a near-40 trick pitcher thinking it was a good idea. But but but.. Cy Young Winner!!! Gonna be a long year
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Complain about team if you must Ongoing personal battles will result in infractions
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 need to split this series otherwise the season is over. That's weird. It says on the schedule that the regular season is over on September 28th.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 To make matters worse today: JPA drew a walk with Texas.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 just one game....I'm pumped to watch Hutch tomorrow...that kid is legit....he won't be walking guys every inning.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Hopefully Hutchison will be better tomorrow. Hopefully Jeffress is gone by first pitch tomorrow after that disaster..
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Fun Fact. The Jays are currently on pace to give up a MLB record 1458 runs this year,
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Hopefully Hutchison will be better tomorrow. Hopefully Jeffress is gone by first pitch tomorrow after that disaster.. Should be easy to get Jeffress down to AAA now.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 See? That's almost sigworthy ... though nothing compares to gruber92 wondering aloud if 0.7 WAR is replacement level. Never change, Moogster. Never change.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 To make matters worse today: JPA drew a walk with Texas. to be fair, the pitches he got were way outside the strikezone...but he did strike out swinging at pitches that far outside the zone last year..lol

Gonna be a long year Rasmus and Lawrie make a case for cautious optimism. Neither had a hit and they combined for 3 Ks but I was impressed by their approach.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Fun Fact. The Jays are currently on pace to give up a MLB record 1458 runs this year, That's a fun fact but the Rangers and Phillies gave up more runs today. Actually the Jays must be on pace to record the worst run differential in MLB history though.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Hey, we still scored more runs than the Red Sox.. they had every shot to beat Baltimore, but their lineup went 0-10 with RISP. Wonder if that team is already missing Ellsbury..
