OK see you tomorrow. Need to wash this one from our minds.

Yep

Everybody let's calm down

The GDT is as much of a s*** show as the game was. I guess that's how it works sometimes

Well, that didn't go as planned

if we had all said our worst case scenarios, this would be worse than everyone but BTS' scenario.

I've used the ignore feature' date=' that's over. Cobb and Hutch should be an excellent matchup?[/quote']

Should be

Wow they gotta bounce back from this one

Well, that game sucked, but there will be plenty more. I'll probably miss the rest of this series because of how much work I have this week but...the home opener will be fun.

Baseball, though. It's a great thing. Time to take a break and then catch some Sonny Gray later.

I wish I could say that it couldn't get worse, but I dont think I could believe it in my heart.

Tomorrow is gonna be tough. Alex Cobb is a bad motherf***er.

Hutch's got this.

Hutchison appears to be a bad ass himself.

Hutchison regression to the mean

Observations from today's game:

Jays hitters were very poorly disciplined and did everything Price wanted them too. Instead of taking close pitches off the plate, they were swinging at them, while leaving the meatballs and making s*** contact, or right through them.

8 walks from the starting pitching... Pretty much says it all regarding the pitching staff.

Nice to see our lack of bench depth being needed on the field in the first inning of the year.

wtf Edwin?

Wtf Jeffress?

Ah Dickey... Only would the Jays trade bigtime pieces for a near-40 trick pitcher thinking it was a good idea. But but but.. Cy Young Winner!!!

Gonna be a long year

need to split this series otherwise the season is over.

That's weird. It says on the schedule that the regular season is over on September 28th.

They are currently on pace to go 0-162, need to turn it around quick.

Hopefully Hutchison will be better tomorrow. Hopefully Jeffress is gone by first pitch tomorrow after that disaster..

Should be easy to get Jeffress down to AAA now.

See? That's almost sigworthy ... though nothing compares to gruber92 wondering aloud if 0.7 WAR is replacement level.

Never change, Moogster. Never change.

To make matters worse today: JPA drew a walk with Texas.

to be fair, the pitches he got were way outside the strikezone...but he did strike out swinging at pitches that far outside the zone last year..lol

Rasmus and Lawrie make a case for cautious optimism. Neither had a hit and they combined for 3 Ks but I was impressed by their approach.

Fun Fact.

The Jays are currently on pace to give up a MLB record 1458 runs this year,

That's a fun fact but the Rangers and Phillies gave up more runs today. Actually the Jays must be on pace to record the worst run differential in MLB history though.

Hey, we still scored more runs than the Red Sox.. they had every shot to beat Baltimore, but their lineup went 0-10 with RISP. Wonder if that team is already missing Ellsbury..
