Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Jays pitching looking Grrrrreeeeat today!
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 can't field I don't recall Gose's fielding ever been questioned.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Twins don't even need to bring bats today, they could walk in enough runs
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Happ performing like s*** in the spring is the best thing that can happen for the team. If someone said the same about Goins, you would acuse them of being negative anti-fans who root against the team's own player. If you feel comfortable rooting against player's you don't like and don't think can contribute maybe you should park the self-righteousness.

bowld Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Hate to say it since its only Spring Training but this is about what I expect to see from us this year. Offense is going to need to score in boat loads for us to win games
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Beauty swings by both Lawrie and Eddy

Happ has played in the majors and we know he's bad and we know Santana is available and is probably better. Heck, there are better in house options. Goins has a SSS In the majors with one positive (defense) and we know our backups are mediocre. There are some similarities and I hate rooting against any of our players but I feel the same way about Happ as many do. I just want him gone.

Hey f*** head, we have better internal options to replace Happ. Can you say the same for Goins? You're a f***ing moron.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Sign Drew or... Kawasaki Izturis Goins, Kawasaki and Izturis are all trash though. I was all for signing Infante and Drew would be a definite upgrade (at what cost?). Don't even f***ing bother in trying to argue that Kawasaki or Izturis are better options.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 They are better options. But it's a moot point because all 3 are s*** and none of them should be starting 2B You can argue the fact that none of them should be starting second baseman, but you are f***ing dillusional if you think Kawasaki or Izturis are better options.

Its actually less work, but you obviously have an agenda.
markdavo4 Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yo gruber - I'm new here so no doubt you'll prob tell me nicely to keep my opinions to myself. But I would have thought this is a decent place to come to chat opinions without getting unneccesarily over the top. A simple 'agree to disagree' prob would have sufficed, and I don't see how shortening that quote serves any agenda at all - other than cutting out the part that wasn't relevant to his point it certainly didn't change the context to fit an agenda. Anyway.....peace, love and BJ's eh!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Holy s*** Lawrie What a f'n play You guys see that???

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Can we cut Izturis already? Too expensive to cut
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I quoted the part of the post I was replying to. Jesus Christ this guy What a f***ing squirrel you are. Nice throw Kawasaki.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 You guys gotta see the Lawrie play if you missed it. Runners on 1st and 2nd, ball bounced down the 3B line. Perfectly played on the hop, got his foot on the bag for one out and fired a rocket to 1B for the DP. Freakin' beautiful.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I quoted the part of the post I was replying to. Jesus Christ this guy Ok.. For the last f***ing time because i'm sick of this already. I agree there are better EXTERNAL options out there to play second base, but as of now Goins is our best option. If Goins gets hurt and Kawasaki takes over, do you think i would root against him? Bottom line is i want the Jays to be a winning ball club, period.
