And Seattle is getting upset likely that Price won't be a Mariner because the Rays are still contending. Looks like everyone still could catch Seattle.. look, outside of Felix and Iwakuma, the team isn't that good, as it lacks the offense to contend, and ownership refuses to add salary.

Yes it did stop raining, but for some reason the Yankees groundscrew didn't get the tarp on in time, making the infield unplayable. Not making this up.

The good thing is the Orioles and Mariners play each other for a 4 game series next. The Jays need to capitalize on that.

Never underestimate the power of MLB when it comes to helping the Yankees. Jeter's final season would make a great playoff story, in terms of ratings and fan interest.

 

Be very afraid of the Yankees.

Mariners announce they've acquired Kendrys Morales from Twins for Stephen Pryor.

 

Twins must've really wanted to get rid of him. His numbers have been lousy in Minnesota:

 

.234/.259/.325, 1HR, 18RBIs, 6/27 BB/K ratio, 11 doubles.

Only a marginal upgrade from Corey Hart and Logan Morrison and Justin Smoak.

 

For Stephen Pryor.. didn't he use to be a good reliever for the Mariners?
