""For me, winning was a big draw," Arencibia said. "I know from playing against the Rangers and seeing the way they go about their business on the field, they have a winning team and have for quite some time.""

Well look at how well that worked out for ya Jaypee

So he goes there and they turn into a loosing team.... It is as if they are connected.....Not really but I like to think so...... The s*** injuries don't help the case.

Hmmm I just pondered...are there any other African American pitchers in the league today?

and no I don't consider Dominicans in that category.

The only one I can think of that is still playing is that old dude playing for Colorado - Hawkins

Oooh and there was that player for the Angels too, I forgot his name.

Jerome Williams, but he got released. I think he caught on somewhere, though. Or will catch on.

Chris Archer is like half black I think.

King just pm'd me about the little Wilnercibia escapade where he tried pretending to be me a few days ago. Ignoring the kind of issues it probably takes for someone to impersonate me of all people, I gotta say I'm grateful that you guys figured out that it wasn't, in fact, me. The reason I say that is because it's hilariously suspicious that I wasn't posting at all during that time, so I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that it was me on a dupe.

To clarify though, I haven't posted as much lately because I'm on vacation in England, and not because I feel the need to be anymore of a dick than I probably already come off to you guys, by confusing you with multiple accounts.

For the record, the only time I ever thought about making a dupe account here was to make one named "Ban Hammer" and literally only post JPGs of giant golden hammers every time somebody got banned. I assumed it would have the highest thanks-to-post ratio of all time, and people would have a ball trying to figure out who it was, but I decided against it because of the confusion and irritation it might cause the mods.

It took me a little too long to figure it out, lol.

Yeah no. BTS used to be a legend in that regard but ever since whatever f***ed up his post count, f***ed up his post count, he gets zero consideration in these discussions. And this thing with his posts happened while he wasn't actually posting during the Jays hot streak, so I'm not sure if he went back and deleted all of his thousands of Rays-support posts in that time because of the incredible shame he was feeling, or whatever it was, but he has to be permanently shunned regardless.

Of course this will probably only make him a martyr. Oh god, the thought of BTS filling the role of the resident Shoeless Joe.

He got banned and something malfunctioned. That's all.

See now, after reading the kind of garbage he was posting, it makes me think I should be a bit more offended about this whole thing.

TL, nobody thought you were the dupe.[/] It was just confusing for the first couple hours before everyone realized what was happening.

Enjoy your vacation!

Apparently you don't speak for King and GD.

We used to be frands, gauys.

I did. Last year. That's when I left for a bunch of months and came back posting like a heartless prick. I realized that if I want to post here (and I do; I like... like four of you.. and let's face it, it's only active Jays forum, LOL) the only way to survive in this troll-tank is to be as direct as possible in conveying to the trolls how much I loathe their existence.

And in doing that, I don't want to be a kitty party bitch and play favours to people I consider friendish, and so I decided to treat all ******** equally, no matter who posts it. Even if it's someone I totally enjoy talking to, if they post something I consider stupid, I treat it all the same. It might irritate someone/everyone sometimes/all the time, but atleast it's respectable and fair.

I'm usually a lot more relaxed in PMs, IMs or in person but my direct and sometimes abrasive manner of posting probably makes me come off as "angry" as you called it a while back. Trust me when I say though, I'm laughing half the time when I'm on here. If it genuinely made me angry, I've shown in the past that I have no problem hitting the 'x' and disappearing for a long period of time.

I wish every thread could be a Kawasaki DFA thread where everyone can just kick back and even coexist with Wilnercibia in the unified act of flinging bird s*** at Metallijay, but unfortunately, I don't think that would be very good for the forum, LOL.

Umps in New York phoning up Selig: "Hey Boss, who do you think the Blue Jays want to win this game?"

Selig: "Probably Seattle"

Ump: "Makes sense. Out it is."

What do you think of Wei-Yin Chen, jaysfan2014?

Does it even matter? Seattle's offense sucks! Regardless, Chen is still the best pitcher the O's have, compared to their pile of #4-5 starters on the roster and Kevin Gausman.

Delmon Young with a 3-run blast. 4-0 O's. Looks like the Jays will be in the postseason mix by night's end, but still trailing the O's by 3(and so will the Yankees).

Meanwhile, Boston will be probably starting the auction on several of their veterans, especially after the Rays slaughter them this weekend.

Problems with the Mariners and why the Jays and Yankees(and others) have caught them:

1. Stefan Romero and his sub-Mendoza line average batting 2nd.

2. Trading for a DH they had before who is only slightly better than what they have had with Morrison/Hart/Smoak/Montero.. and sat out 2 months waiting for draft comp to expire.

3. Fielding a lineup of low .200s hitters except for Cano and Seager.

4. Not signing Nelson Cruz in offseason because they didn't have money.. but they just paid for Morales. What a waste..

5. Elias wearing down, Young a regression candidate, Walker can't throw strikes, and Ramirez, despite decent numbers albeit with lousy control, is in AAA.

6. Ackley is still a bust.

7. Mike Zunino putting up Arencibia-type numbers with a 33% K rate and .255 OBP, even with the HRs.

8. Endy Chavez.. why is he still in the big leagues?

9. Brad Miller is so awful, the Mariners just called up SS prospect Chris Taylor, hoping for a spark.

Yankees (potentially) bankrupting their farm system again:

JIM BOWDEN ‏@JimBowdenESPNxm

Yankees & Padres discussing deal that would send Ian Kennedy to Yankees in exchange for Eric Jagielo and Ian Clarkin according to a source

That's their #4 and #7 prospects. Don't do it! Jagelo is doing well in A+ ball and is a 3B, and Clarkin has #2-3 upside.

Ian Kennedy was traded from NY for a reason.. don't the Yankees learn?

Wow, the Yanks are so desperate to get a World Series ring for Jeter before he retires, they're willing to be really awful for years after he retires by making these win-now trades.

Posted

And because the Yanks are desperate and this media is coming out, expect prices for the Yankees in prospects demanded by other teams to skyrocket. No way San Diego or Colorado give up Ian Kennedy or Jorge De La Rosa for minimal return.

Remember, Colorado wanted Gausman for De La Rosa.
