I don't think nolan ryan is with them now, Last I heard he was contemplating joining the Astros Front office

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 It's the "Centre" part that bothers me. Rogers Ballpark or Rogers Field does sounds a lot better. Maybe they'll change it once the upgrade the stadium. New look, new name, new interest brought in.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I like stadium or ballpark, but no point in changing it until it's only use is for baseball. Centre is what it is right now.. I really hope we see a big transformation once it does get grass, make it less concrete jungle feeling. It was a good minor start taking out those windows last year.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Dodgers sign Justin Turner to help boost the depth of their infield, which is not strong due to the uncertainty of Alexander Guerrero and injury risks to Uribe and Ramirez. Former Cub and Mariner Bryan LaHair signs a minors deal with the Indians.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) Reports say Josh Hamilton has put on 28 pounds this off season. No pics yet but I'm sure there will be when he gets to Angels camp. Can you put on 28 pounds of muscle from October to February? Oh well, they can cut him slack, cause at least he had a great year in 2013 and provided solid value for 25M right? Oh wait... Edited February 6, 2014 by G-Snarls

I wonder if all that extra muscle will keep him from swinging at every pitch that leaves the pitcher's hand..
