Time for some BKal in the outfield for the Jays. He led the conference in outfield assists from right field every year he played and let the Canadians in short season.

With all due respect (admittedly...none), can you keep your Kalfus knob gobbling in the minors forum thread. Circle jerk to your heart's content there but f*** off in the rest of the forum already.

I think he thinks this is a Kalfus message board.

I usually try to keep it to the thread only unless someone else brings it up.

I know. But seriously, just because it isn't really a bannable thing to post, it's pretty ridiculous to drag it through all these other threads.

2014 Bench

- Thole

- Goins

- Gose

- Sierra

sigh

Urgh and Izturis starting at second, disgusting. Maybe if we ask CLE nicely they'll just return Gomes and Aviles?

Obviously bullpen arms are invaluable and bench players irrelevant.

He threatened to hunt me down and mess me up so I challenged him to a fight, same location as always.

The next Lyle Overbay

Lyle Overbay's ages 25-33 seasons are pretty much the worst possible outcome for Freeman. They're a similar type of player, but the comparison ends there.

Wanted: Another pitcher for the Padres.

Cory Luebke will miss the 2014 season with a 2nd Tommy John surgery.

Now you wonder why they went so hard after Josh Johnson..depth is going to be a real issue in San Diego.

What do you mean they are similar? They both play 1st base.

Does anyone want Stephen Drew?

http://nypost.com/2014/02/04/mets-exec-drew-is-a-long-shot-to-sign-with-amazins/

Red Sox don't want him (Bogaerts), Mets don't want him (money), Yankees don't want him (over-budget after Tanaka).. who's gonna take him?

Boras has said he is willing to play any position including 2B and as long as he's willing to come here and the jays can work something reasonable out with boras than Drew would be an upgrade over both goins and izturis. I would not give him more than 3 years however.

Absolutely. Presuming we're going to sign Jiminez or Santana anyway, he'd essentially only cost us a 3rd round draft pick and you can probably get him without overpaying in $$ at this point. I don't think the FO will do it but it would be a nice upgrade for the middle infield.

Oh the tweet I posted isn't showing up

Rangers are selling the rights to name the Ballpark In Arlington

haha, I was confused about the random statement and an angry smurf.

I don't mind some names, like Rogers Centre, Coors Field, Target Field, but then there are some that just sound dumb like Minute Maid Park, Citizens Bank, Tropicana

That being said, non corporate names are way better. Bring back the skydome!

Agree. I still often call it the Skydome

Minute Maid? Tropicana Field? O.co??? Really??!?! (that has to be the absolute worst but the A's need the $$ so bad LOL)

Oh, and the tweet isn't showing up because Olney appears to have deleted it. So I copied a link to the article he was tweeting about.

The Skydome was way better, but Rogers Centre isn't that bad compared to those other names. The fact Rogers owns the Blue Jays also makes it a bit better.

Agree it's at least tolerable as a name

Now, overstock.com??? Just how poor and desperate is Lew Wolff???

It's the "Centre" part that bothers me.

I like to think the guy on the right is hanging his head in shame muttering "sorry"

Also hopefully he is heavily insured by Globe Life in the event that Nolan Ryan and some Texas fans assault him for giving their beautiful stadium such a s***** new name.
